1. Devdas

Starring opposite Shah Rukh Khan in this Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie, Ash was the epitome of Bengali beauty. With intricate jewelry adorning her alta dyed hands, a big red bindi and thick waist-length hair, people went gaga over her. Her makeup consisted of a thick winged liner and shimmery rose lipstick. She wore light Bengali attire throughout the movie that enhanced her petite figure. Later, she wore saris in dark colors such as peacock blue and magenta with the palludraped over her head as a ‘Thakurain.’ Her matching outfit, jewelry and makeup with Madhuri Dixit in the song Dola Re stole the show.

2. Jodha Akbar

In this epic movie, Aishwarya plays the role of a young Rajput princess named Jodha. Her delicate maangtika and nathni framed her face perfectly. She wears lehenga cholis in bright colours like yellow, orange, red and green throughout the movie. She sported a no-makeup makeup look with a small red bindi that enhanced her ethereal beauty. She wore contacts to make her eye color dark.The jewelry that she wore weighed almost 4 kg, including a big necklace that was replicated for the movie using paintings of the Mughal era. Her waist length hair was kept either braided or open.

3. Umrao Jaan

In Umrao Jaan, Ash wore beautiful anarkalis with net dupattas in bright blue, pink and golden. She had heavy kohl on her upper and bottom lash line to enhance her eye shape as well as glossy pink-stained lips. Her cheeks had a pink flush and she mostly sported shimmery eye shadows on her eyes. She wore a paasamaangtika as well as hand ornaments. Her hair was kept simple in a long braid. Her alluring mujra and dance performances in the movie put viewers in a trance.

4. Dhoom 2

Dhoom 2 saw Aishwarya ditching the usual ethnic saris for a bold role as a thief. She enhanced the contours of her face and body by using a bronzer. This dusky look was approved by many critics. Additionally, she added some glow to her face using a highlighter on her cheekbones. She wore blown out smoky eyes with upper and lower lash line lined with kohl. She kept her lips mostly nude and super glossy. As for her outfits, she wore cutout trendy tops, leather corsets and mini-skirts or shorts. She sported wavy and voluminous brown hair for this glamorous role. Her fans loved her changed look in the movie.

5. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Aishwarya came back after a short break with the movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starring opposite Ranbir Kapoor. She looks like a typical city goer with her long coats, boots and trendy totes. She chose monochromatic outfits with the slightest bling like embellished jackets or bags. She wore her hair open with big wavy curls at the end. Throughout most of the movie, she had soft smoky eyes and nude matte lips. Her simple yet modern look recaptured the hearts of many.
