1. Head Stand (Sirsasana):

This exercise is good for promoting blood circulation in the scalp, which indirectly results in faster hair growth. Can’t forget to mention, this pose is amazing to get a well-toned body!

2. Camel Pose (Ustrasana):

This pose is quite simple, in comparison to the first one; you are required to kneel on the floor and bend your spine backwards until you are able to touch your ankles. Hold it for a few seconds and release, breathe as you normally would, but exhale while you return to the kneeling position. Do not try this pose if you have back problems. This is a good pose for people suffering from hair thinning or breakage.

3. Rabbit Pose (Sasangasana):

With your knees on the floor, let your hips rest on the heels. Then place your hand behind your heels and hold. Slowly bend your head towards the floor and inhale. Lift your hips up after you get into the pose, hold for a count of five and exhale. Blood circulation in the scalp is hugely improved with this pose. Your hair is left with luscious shine and healthy hair.

4. Pranayam:

Stress is a major cause of hair fall, and with the help of pranayam, you can calm down your senses while enhancing the blood flow in the body.

5. Balayam:

This yoga exercise is known to be quite controversial; however, it is regarded as one of the most effective ways to grow your hair faster! All you need to do is, rub your fingernails except your thumb for a good 10-20 minutes every day. You shouldn’t rub your thumb, as it supposedly causes facial hair growth. However, people who suffer from high blood pressure and pregnant women should avoid this exercise completely. Also, it may sometimes cause drowsiness, so it is advised that the exercise must not be done when you are working or travelling!

Apart from trying these yoga exercises for hair growth, you must also try to eat healthy hair growth boosting foods like carrots, silica rich foods, spinach, walnuts, fish and eggs, as diet and exercise go hand-in-hand.
Also, massage your scalp with coconut oil or castor oil on a regular basis!! You must also be very gentle with your hair while combing it, try to avoid too many chemical based products, excessive styling and live stress free!
