In addition, if you are habitual of putting your face into the pillow, you need silk pillowcases urgently. The creases of other fabrics can give you premature wrinkles. Silk pillowcases are expensive, but they are very beneficial for your skin.

2. Start drinking an anti-aging smoothie

1 1/2 cups pineapple (frozen)
1 cup mango (frozen)

2 tbsp flax or chia seeds

For non-vegetarians heart-healthy Omega 3 fatty acids, which are found in oily fish like salmon and mackerel, are great options. And, the vegetarians can go for walnuts and flax seeds to keep their skin plump and bouncy even in their 50s. Healthy fat will keep your dryness-prone, aging skin moisturized from within. No topical treatment works if your skin is drying from the inside because of lack of fats in your diet.

4. Cut your shower time short

Long, pampering hot showers are drying up your skin which will result in untimely wrinkles and that’s not what you want, right? Save your skin by turning down the temperature and reducing the time you spend in the shower. Remember, sticking your face directly under the stream of water is aging your facial skin very badly. The water pressure plus the warm temperature plus the water quality combined are very harsh for your skin. 5. Sleep well
