6 Things You Should Remember When Everything Goes Wrong

Hi ladies,
Sometimes we find ourselves at such a junction of life when we wonder why everything is going so horribly wrong for me. Nothing seems to work out and we get so stressed out that we think that we would never be able to get out of this mess. If you think you can’t save yourself then first of all sit back, relax and do not forget to remember these things from the post.

things going wrong

1. You can handle this:

“You’ll be okay. No matter what shape reality takes, you can handle it.” ― Shiro Amano

God will not give you a problem if he thinks you won’t be able to handle it. You can solve all your problems with resilience, patience, and with the help of your family and friends. Keep a hand on your beating heart, take a deep breath and go on with your life smiling

2. Accept that you can’t control everything:

“Incredible change happens in your life when you decide to take control of what you do have power over instead of craving control over what you don’t.” ― Steve Maraboli

When there is a lot changing around you, you may feel out of control with the things. Just don’t forget, it is a big whole world and you little soul can’t control everything. So why beat yourself up over something that you cannot control. Just take control of what you can control and you will be a happy soul.

3. Learn from your mistakes:

“Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes.” – Oscar Wilde

You made some huge mistakes. So what? Everyone does! It only shows we are human. Instead of regretting what you did, spend your time and energy in making that right and learn a lesson from your mistakes. Mistakes should be learning milestones and not speed breakers of the road of your life.

4. Asking for help doesn’t make you weak:

taking help

“Asking for help does not mean that we are weak or incompetent. It usually indicates an advanced level of honesty and intelligence.”– Anne Wilson Schaef

Sometimes we think that this is my problem and I can handle it and when that problem goes out of hand then we find ourselves all depressed and alone. I know everyone has their own set of problems but talking to your friend or a family member can sometimes give us a dimension towards that problem and help us solve it.

5. Much of This Won’t Matter in a Few Years:

“The most important thing is to enjoy your life – to be happy – it’s all that matters.” – Audrey Hepburn

Think about your life 10 years later, would this problem of yours still matter in 10 years time. I hope the answer is no! Then why lose our peace of mind over it. Enjoy your life with a smile on your face and you will be left with lesser problems and more joys.

6. There Are More Important Things in Life:

happy things in life

“Most of us spend too much time on what is urgent and not enough time on what is important.” ― Stephen R. Covey

Sometimes we give our problems so much of our time and energy that we lose perspective of what’s important in our lives.
I am not saying that you turn a blind eye to your problems, they are your problem so you need to solve them but do not forget to look on the other happy side of things. Your problems may not look like problems at that time!

  1. You know, number 5 is, in my opinion, the most comforting thing you can tell yourself, and it really helps! If you’re going through something right now, think about any similar/ equally upsetting problem you faced a few years ago, and whether it still bothers you as much, if at all. Chances are it doesn’t!
    Very good write-up, Vandana! 🙂
