No matter how old a woman is, attending someone’s wedding is a big deal for all of us. Again, irrespective of our age we all love to flaunt ethnic attires on such occasions. I personally feel that our traditional outfits give us lots of scope to look sexy/hot than western outfit. You just have to dare to bare 😉 Also, we get chance to use all makeup products we had ever bought during wedding season. Especially when I buy any bold or wrong makeup products I console myself by saying that I will need it for wedding season. It’s not waste. Anyhow, this post is not about makeup products but I am here to give you some ideas that you may try this wedding season to turn the spotlight on you!

Wear a vibrant color floor length Anarkali suit for wedding season. If it’s too cold outside then go for a full sleeve, high neck Annarkali suit. Wear just mangtika and heavy earrings with the outfit. Lets the anarkali and your mangtika do the talking and keep rest of the things minimal for the classy traditional look.

2) Ethnic Palazzo Suits:-

Don’t let the cold outside stop you from becoming the head turner. Wear an either long or short ethnic jacket with your lehangas. You may skip dupatta, if you’re wearing a jacket. You may also wear a traditional long jacket with a long skirt for the indo-western look.

4) Saree with Jacket:-

It is next to impossible to forget about our 6 yards of traditional dress while talking about wedding fashion. Thanks to our celebs Aishwariya Rai Bachhan and Sonam Kapoor for bringing this interesting twist in our saree.

5) Long blouse with saree:-

Wear a long blouse with your saree for a break from regular saree look. If you create your own customized blouse from a tailor then you can also wear it as top later with long skirt. Long blouse is also perfect for hiding our not so perfect figure.

6) A Simple White or Black Saree:-

Didn’t get time to prepare for the wedding? Don’t panic! A plane white or black saree is your savior. Choose anyone of them and pair them with contrast blouse. Here you can use lots of accessories like bangles or statement necklace and big red or black bindi to complete the look.

7) Lehanga Saree:-

Lehanga sarees are another fine discovery in the saree world. If you’re not comfortable wearing saree then try lehanga saree. I can assure you from my own experience that they are super comfortable and look gorgeous just like our traditional saree.

The challenge in winter is to keep our self warm while flaunting our gorgeous outfits. One more thing which is very essential is to also plan for your handbag and sandals in advance, keeping your whole look in mind.
