So my exams are finally over. My leg has healed too, that means time to hit the gym again! The past couple of months have been bad for me healthwise, and so my weightloss regime was ineffective. But this time I’m very determined to lose weight. Till then, I’m going to try some smart tips to look slimmer. Let me share them with you.
1. Invest in shapewear
What shapewear does is it smoothens out your body bulges, spreading them evenly and making you look slimmer. Shapewears also concentrate on your problem areas. Buy them accordingly and pair them with that bodycon dress you’ve been hiding away in your closet.
2. Wear well-fitted clothes
Make sure all your clothes sit exactly where they are meant to. For example, the hem of your jeans should end at your ankles; your blazer should sit perfectly on your shoulders. Well-fitted (not tight!) clothes highlight your curves well.
3. Do maxis
Some people think that maxi skirts and dresses bring out the body flaws. It is not entirely true. If well fitted and designed, they fall perfectly and can make you look like a diva. Pair them with wedges or heels; don’t wear flats or it’ll make you look shorter and chubbier.
4. Wear all black
Ladies, this is the mantra! This is followed by all of us. We do this every time and it never fails.
5. Correct bra size
A wrong bra size can make your breasts look saggy which can’t be fixed even by well-fitted dresses. Measure yourself correctly and also try the bras before buying them, as different bras have different fittings and serve different purposes.
Be confident and comfortable about what you have to wear. That always works well!
