  1. Nice article!  I’m kind of a shy person..and that pic is totally me when i was a kid :teddy: I used to hide my face like that whenever guests visited house!! 😀 😀

  2. I think shy people are insecure. I know….I was shy before…what others will think, will it matter what I say?, will anyone joke about it? what if I blurt something stupid? etc. etc……its thousand thoughts that prevent you to come out of your shell…..but you need 1 right person in your life to help you see that overcoming shyness is not only good, but the bestest thing in life.

Sure I do think same things before, but now I dont care what is the outcome. As long as I know I am right and its going to help me……I just say it.

  3. Rati, I have a question for you….

What is the best thing you like about MAC….name 1 thing which you think is totally worth the price……!!!!

      1. Its just one of the days when I want to do impulse buying…I am so stressed….mainly due to lack of sleep….so I was like what should I buy next???

I already have Studio Careblend Pressed powder, once that is over, I’ll get Skinfinish Natural….

May be I will go and hang out and see if I have something interesting….either at MAC or Sephora…

For me, it would be Prep+Prime and ProLong wear foundation….superb combo for medium cov. – dry/combo skin.

  4. I used to be really shy when i first met people …. i agree with Nia, i guess i was insecure…and because i spoke less people often mistook me to be snooty/arrogant. But all that slowly changed when i realized it was really holding me back from achieving what i wanted….. :))

  5. Hmm… I have a different problem altogether. I am almost always thinking something or the other deeply. Sometimes math problems, sometimes things related to business, other times life in general. It’s as if I have an entire world alive inside me. And I hardly notice people around me. 😐

    1. ummm sanjeevji ..im the same 😛 😛 :drunk: :drunk: :drunk: :drunk: :drunk: and then ppl think im reserved or i have attidtude… but actualy im a thinker /dreamer… jo bhi 😛

  6. Mee very shy :secret2: :secret2: :secret2:
reading these Tips makes me feel I will be able to overcome it one day…!!! :snicker: :snicker: :snicker:

  7. i am not sur eif being shy and speaking in front of many ppl is the same thing but if it is in front of many ppl then I am definitely shy..i can speak maybe 1:1 or 1: 3 or 4 but more than that i end up stammering sometimes and that stammering keeps me away from talking too much. This is mostly becos of a couple of bad experiences..i tried my luck at elocution when i was in school and i forgot the words in the poem on stage. i was standing for a few mins without saying anything except in my mind i kept saying ‘Oh god, help me remember the words’..i remembered the words and cotinued but those few seconds seemed like eternity and the second time was when i tried to sing in front of abt 200 ppl and i went a little besur and my parents made fun of it but according to them it was just light humour but somewhere it stuck that if i falter ppl will make fun of me so i never attempted singing or speaking in front of so many ppl again 🙁 at work i have to give a presentation occasionally and I get so psyched out before a presentation..(i think i do a decent job eventually but if i had a choice i would never do it)

these tips would really help. Thanks Era

    1. Lol, it’s the reverse with me. I’m usually reticent about speaking with a small crowd but with a large crowd, i.e. 60- 500 people I turn on 🙂

  8. i was shy in my school age ………..but once i came in college i knew there is no place for shy person……..so i improved myself ………thats very hard man :yikes:

  9. me too not at all a social person.. guess i dont have even fb or orkut account… but this imbb i cant leave… but m not shy too
