Skin type: Combination and acne-prone

I really love “AcneFree” products as they have worked like magic for my acne. I have already reviewed their 24 Hour Acne Clearing System, and this time, I got a cream from them, which claims to clear out the complexion and acne. Scroll down to read how it worked for me.

My Experience with Acne Free Daily Skin Therapy Complexion Perfecting Cream:
Packaging: Acne Free Daily Skin Therapy Complexion Perfecting Cream comes packaged in a big white box with a lot of details written over it. The combination is of white and orange. The box mentions everything from how the cream works to how to use it. And, inside the box, sits a sleek little tube containing the cream, which comes with a big orange coloured cap. The tube is a palm-sized one and comes with a pump dispenser as well. However, it has a small dispensing hole, and thus, it dispenses minimal quantity only. The price is also okay because I expected this cream to do a lot. But, I am not happy with the packaging since the upper seal completely broke, and while pressing the tube to dispense the cream, applying a lot of pressure made it burst at the top. However, the cream does not dry and, I keep on using it. Still, it is really disappointing.
Consistency, smell and feel on the skin: It is a yellow coloured cream, and the consistency is super smooth and creamy. It is lightweight and gets absorbed effortlessly into the skin on massaging. It does not leave a greasy film behind and we don’t have to use it in the mornings. The smell is pleasant and is very mild but, I can smell it only at the time of massaging. It does not irritate my skin but, it has a lot of strong chemicals so, it may cause irritation on sensitive skin.
Results: It is like a regular cream that made my skin really smooth and healthy looking with time. But, it doesn’t provide any instant results, it has to be used for a longer period. It made my skin clearer, but not completely. Firstly, I was expecting it to work wonders for my acne but, it did not work that way. I couldn’t notice any major reduction in my acne, only a little reduction in the size and redness. Still, they did not reduce completely. It did live up to its claims, but just partially. I wish it had done everything completely that it claimed, and then, this cream would have been something different from the rest!
Pros of Acne Free Daily Skin Therapy Complexion Perfecting Cream:
- Handy tube and all the instructions are mentioned nicely.
- The dispensing pump hole is very small.
- Contains retinol.
- Smooth and creamy texture.
- Gets absorbed well into the skin.
- My skin looks a lot smoother than before.
- The complexion did look even after prolonged use.
- Mild reduction in acne.
Cons of Acne Free Daily Skin Therapy Complexion Perfecting Cream:
- The skin may react to chemicals (my skin did not).
- The complexion wasn’t evened out completely.
- There was no much difference in the acne.
- The tube bursts from the top where it is sealed (picture attached).

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Acne Free Daily Skin Therapy Complexion Perfecting Cream?
No, I wouldn’t buy this rather I would prefer the acne-free kit that I got earlier, which worked so much better than this.
Conclusion: Acne-free kits are my HG skincare kits when it comes to pimples and acne, so if you are facing some serious acne or pimple issues, then do try them.
