Today, I am going to review cleansing towelettes from Acure Organics for all of you.

My Experience with Acure Organics Unscented Argan Oil Cleansing Towelettes:
Acure Organics Unscented Argan Oil Cleansing Towelettes come packed in a light green-colored plastic pouch. They do not have a plastic panel, instead have a sticker for resealing the package. I am really not fond of stickers since the glue on them wears out pretty fast. The glue on the sticker on my favorite Neutrogena Hydrating Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes gave away when I was just half way through the package and the wipes did dry out a bit even though I kept them in a zip lock. 🙁
The wipes are white in color and are smaller in size when compared to the other cleansing wipes that I have used previously. The wipes are soft, not harsh or abrasive on the skin. These are plain wipes and not exfoliating ones. They are not too thick and I really fear that they would tear down during use. They are not very “wet,” in fact, they feel almost dry.
Now, coming to the performance of these towelettes, they perform just okay. To take down just light makeup, I had to use 2 wipes to get it all off my face. Not to mention a separate one for my eyes. And even after that, it did not remove my eye makeup fully, it was not some typical smoky eye, but day-to-day light makeup. And my mascara was as it is, the wipes did not do anything to them. Coming to face, even after using 2 wipes, I am unsure whether it removes all traces of makeup or not. For my lips too, this is just good to remove hydrating lipsticks, for example, Maybelline Color Sensational Orchid Ecstasy Rebel Bloom Lipstick. It does not work on long-staying lipsticks at all. Very disappointing indeed!!!
The wipes do not leave any greasy film on my face and did not break me out.
As if the poor performance was not enough, comes the “unscented” scent. These wipes contain nice oils like olive, argan, and grape seed – all of which are excellent for skin, but I would have preferred if they had scented it up. The wipes smell awful, something like the oils that have turned rancid. It may have something to do with all those oils in it, but it would have been great if the brand would have checked the same and added some fragrance to counter the same.
And it doesn’t go away. I wash my face and then only get some relief.
Pros of Acure Organics Unscented Argan Oil Cleansing Towelettes:

- Biodegradable.
- Contains natural oils.
- No parabens/silicones.
- Vegan.
- Did not break me out.
Cons of Acure Organics Unscented Argan Oil Cleansing Towelettes:
- Wipes are not wet enough.
- Does not remove even light makeup effectively.
- Does not remove long-wearing lipsticks.
- Need to use another eye makeup remover.
- Awful smell.
- The scent does not go away till I wash my face.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Acure Organics Unscented Argan Oil Cleansing Towelettes?
Wipes are a must in my kitty for their ease of use. They are especially useful for those lazy nights when directly jumping to bed is the only thing you want rather than following an elaborate process of removing makeup and washing your face. But with these wipes, removing eye-lip makeup separately and rinsing my face is a must which defeats the whole purpose of these wipes. I would neither repurchase these wipes nor recommend them to anyone.
