I am hoping everybody must be gearing up for the festive season with full enthusiasm. Festive times are even better for us as we get a ‘bahana’ to shop more during these days. I also shopped quite a few things during the past few days and will be reviewing them as and when I am sure about my opinion about the products. Today I am reviewing a shower gel from adidas. Let’s get on with the review.

Price:  Rs. 220

Quantity: 250 ml

Ingredients: – aqua/ water/EAU, sodium laureth sulphate, cocamidopropyl betaine, glycerin, parfum, citric acid, sodium benzoate, limonene, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide, linalool, menthol, disodium EDTA, propylene glycol, methylpropional, methoxy cinnamate, methoxybenzoylmethane, parabens.

Product description: Adidas happy hydrating shower gel helps to maintain your skin’s natural balance and awake your senses (just what I need: P). discover the happy shower experience, enriched with juicy fruits, to put you in a good mood. Be happy and live your life to the fullest. PH balanced, dermatological tested, suitable for daily use.

Packaging: It’s a sturdy bottle with a flip open cap but I am not sure if it is good for travelling because the flip cap may open and I am telling you…you won’t be HAPPY after that!

My take on Adidas Happy Hydrating Shower Gel with Juicy Fruit Extracts:

I purchased this product because I needed one sporty shower gel with a punch as I am really bad at waking up in the morning. I had an option of getting a punch from my brother on my face or from this shower gel and I chose the latter for obvious reasons: P I prefer calming shower gels for the night showers just before going to bed as they help you sleep better but in the morning I really need a wake up shower. The fragrance of this shower gel is really fruity and energizing. It gives a fresh cooling sensation and takes away all the lethargy and sleepy feeling.

The gel lathers up quite well but it’s also a bit thick compared to normal shower gels. If you don’t clean properly, you may have a sticking feeling afterwards. I take a pea sized amount on my loofah and work up lather on my body so I don’t face that sticking problem. The gel is transparent in colour and has some air bubbles in it which burst when you use the gel. Overall, a great shower gel for the mornings where you really need some energizing shower. As for me, I keep changing my shower gels because I get bored with one but for now, I am really happy with this product. See…the happy feeling is definitely there: D

• Great energizing fruity fragrance.
• Good quantity for the price.
• Bottle is really pretty.
• Lathers up quite well and cleans thoroughly.
• Dermatologically tested.

Cons of Adidas Happy Hydrating Shower Gel with Juicy Fruit Extracts:

• Nothing but availability might be a problem as it’s an imported product.
• Flip cap may open while travelling.
• Fragrance does not stay long after shower but I don’t want it to. If you like your fragrances to last long, not for you my friend.
• Contains parabens and loads of chemicals.

Will I repurchase: This bottle will go for a long time and I may get bored till then but if you are one of those persons who don’t change shower gels often; this might be a staple for you.
