Hi Everyone :pompom:
Hope you all are enjoying winters. Today, I am going to review a deodorant by Adidas. My brother has been “Adidas brand loyal” for quite some time and he only bought this deo. Though it is meant for boys/men, but I also love to put it owing to its fragrance 😛 Let’s take a detailed review of the same:
Product Being Reviewed:
Adidas Pure Game Deo Body Spray.
INR 165 for 150 ml. It comes in an aluminium can and does not have a separate cap as in the top is attached with the bottle itself. It is slightly cut out, tilted at the top, and has a rubber layer for spraying and better control of the fingers. Please look at the picture below to figure out what I am trying to say.
I like the packaging because there is no fear of the cap being lost or broken or misplaced. Also, the florescent colour of the bottle gives it a very fresh appeal, especially in the summers, just one handy spray bottle.
Butane, Iso Butane- Propane, Alcohol Denat, Parfum/fragrance, propylene Glycol, Menthyl PCA, Limonene Ethyl MenthaneCarboxamide, Linalool Menthyl, Lactate, Coumarin, Butylphenyl, Methylpropionol, Citronellol Citral, vanillyl butyl Ether, Alpha isomethyl Ionone, BHT.
3 years from the date of manufacturing.
My Take on Adidas Pure Game Deo Body Spray:
I have always liked floral fragrances and have used them for many years. Though I still like them, but this deo caught my attention owing to a woody fragrance. The fragrance is quite pleasant and believe me, it is unisex and you would not smell masculine if you put it 😛 The fragrance lingers for a good 5 hours after which it starts to fade. My brother is into rigorous workout and he loves this deodorant as it controls the body odour to a large extent. The tag line also says 24 hours fresh boost, though that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but yes, one does feel fresh for a good 5-6 hours. All in all, the fragrance is quite pleasant which is quite strong initially but settles down quickly.
Summarising the pros and cons:
Pros of Adidas Pure Game Deo Body Spray:
- Strong woody fragrance which according to me is unisex, I have been using it and I don’t feel less feminine about it though it says it’s a men’s deo.
- Packaging is good, everything encompassed into one can, the spray, the cap and the bottle and another rubber layer for easier and better hold (grip) over it at the top while spraying.
- Does control body odour.
- Stays on for 5-6 hours.
Cons of Adidas Pure Game Deo Body Spray:
- It contains alcohol.
- Either you will hate it or love it owing to its woody fragrance, so I suggest better check it at the counter before buying it.
4.25 out of 5.
Will I Repurchase/Do I Recommend Adidas Pure Game Deo Body Spray?
Yes, I will definitely repurchase and would recommend it to people who love woody fragrances.
