Adidas for Women Daily Scrub Shower Gel

As the summer is getting hotter and hotter, the need for shower gels is  increasing and I am  sure that the shops selling these gels are earning loads of profits. So, this one was just a random pick from a local store nearby. As I didn’t have time to go to the big outlets and buy one, I ran to the nearby store and picked the one which was pretty attractive and girly then the others out there. So let’s move on to the review.

Ingredients:

Aqua, sodium laureth sulphate, cocamidopropyl betaine, acrylates copolymer, polyethylene, glycerine, parfum, phenoxyethanol, sodium chloride, sodium benzoate, styrene, sodium hydroxide, methylparaben, propylparaben, disodium edta, ethylparaben, linalool, sodium lauryl sulphate, chromium hydroxide green, Bht.

 

My experience with Adidas for Women Daily Scrub Shower Gel:

Shower gels are a must-have as you all know and  I have stopped using soaps on my skin since long. Soaps make the skin really dry as compared to the shower gels. So coming to this one, it comes in a sturdy white plastic bottle. The bottle is not a transparent one but you can see as too how much product is left. The fonts in purple and pink look very cute on the bottle and the cap is a flip-open one which comes in a cute baby-pink colour. The bottle is a little unique in shape unlike those round shower gel bottles, I guess they created this kind off a shape to have a better grip . They have small round dots on the bottle itself which at times can be used for better exfoliation or massaging the skin. The scrub comes in white colour with tiny granules in it. The smell is again very girly and sweet. The fragrance is not exactly floral or fruity, it is somewhere in between  but it is a mild pleasant smell that we would love to smell in the morning. It brings freshness and makes us start the day with a big boost.

But this is a mild smell so doesn’t stay on your skin after rinsing and that’s the part that I don’t like. The exfoliating pearls are very gentle to the skin and never cause any kind of redness or so, as some scrubs are really harsh and when you start exfoliating they create redness but luckily this one does not. This is good for everyday use but the granules are very tiny , so I use my St. Ives shower scrub twice a week for a healthy and deep exfoliation. As the skin becomes really oily in summers, there is a need to use this every-day and removes all the oil and dirt from my skin perfectly and does not even leave a greasy film behind and the creamy formula hydrates the skin and makes it very smooth and soft to touch. When I come out of the shower, I actually see that my skin looks brighter and very clean, and it doesn’t brighten the skin, it looks brighter because all the dirt has come off. The quantity is also very good and the price is also cheap as compared to the other shower gels. Overall it is a good reliable product, it does its job pretty well but yes ofcourse there are better ones out there than this one but people with sensitive and delicate skin can definitely go for this one, as it is a scrub but very gentle enough to use on your sensitive skin.

 

Pros of Adidas for Women Daily Scrub Shower Gel:

-Affordable.
-Quantity is very good and would last upto 2 months with everyday use.
-Gentle on the skin.
-Does not cause redness or leave a greasy film.
-Moisturizes the skin and cleans it very well.
-The bottle has small dots that can be used for massaging in absence of a loofah.

Cons of Adidas for Women Daily Scrub Shower Gel:

-Availability might be an issue for some.
-Smell does not last after rinsing.

Would I repurchase/ recommend adidas for Women Daily Scrub Shower Gel?
I will not repurchase this one as I am a girl who likes strong smells that stay for a while and this one doesn’t last even half an hour. But yes I will recommend it to people having sensitive skin and want a gentle exfoliator, this one would work out really well for you.
