Ahava Dead Sea Water Mineral Hand Cream Review

Hello everyone,

I have dry skin overall and suck up on anything moisturizing. While I do enjoy moisturized hands, I usually skip hand cream mostly because I don’t like that slippery, greasy feeling on my hands. Recently, I gave this hand cream from Ahava a try despise my aversion to hand creams in general. This review will be on the Ahava Mineral Hand Cream.

My Experience with Ahava Dead Sea Water Mineral Hand Cream:

Packaging:  This hand cream comes in a standard tube with a screw on cap. I would have preferred a flip top cap mostly because I being a clumsy person tend to drop the cap and then have to struggle to find it.

Texture/Consistency/Performance:  This hand cream has a very luxurious silky texture. It is not not too thick and spread easily. It instantly moisturizes dry and chapped skin and gives it a natural healthy sheen. It almost make your skin of your hand feel silicone-y smooth and does take a minute to absorb but does not absorb completely. There is still some creamy silky feeling on your hands but it does not affect your grip. I don’t love this feeling but for moisturized smooth hands I am willing to live with it.

Fragrance:  This hand cream smells amazing. I cannot stop whiffing it every couple of minutes when I apply this. The fragrance is one of the reason why I will put up with the slight greasy feeling on my hands this cream gives. It smells so fresh- like the ocean breeze.

Overall, I like this hand cream mostly for the fragrance. It is indeed very moisturizing and has improved my state of dry hand tremendously. I would mostly prefer using this at nighttime because I am not a fan of the greasy slippery feeling on my hands. It is quite expensive for a hand cream. I will probably not repurchase this but will give another product a try to find that perfect one for me.

Pros of Ahava Dead Sea Water Mineral Hand Cream:

Cons of Ahava Dead Sea Water Mineral Hand Cream:
