My Experience with Ahava Time To Hydrate Hydration Cream Mask:

The product comes in a cardboard packaging with all ingredients and claims written all over it. The mask comes in a medium-sized tube with a few details written on it too. The tube has earthy colors and looks elegant. Packaging is nothing fancy but very basic and sufficient.

The mask has a faint fragrance and also has added fragrance, so if you are allergic to fragrances in your skin care products, then it’s better to stay away from this mask. The mask itself is creamy in texture and feels like a very thick moisturizing cream. It’s recommended to apply it and keep it on for a few minutes and then rinse off the mask. One can also keep it for longer, like overnight if you prefer. like over night if preferred. I want to get the max of everything and hence I decided to keep it overnight. I started by washing my face clean and tapping it dry.

Then I applied a thin layer of the mask all over my face and neck. The mask feels just like a moisturizing cream and hence very easy to apply. It does not feel uncomfortable on the skin. I could feel a warm sensation when massaged in to the skin which is a good sign. I knew the cream was being absorbed and it was working well.

After few minutes, the mask was hardly noticeable on my face. I slept with the mask on overnight. In the morning I washed my face with luke warm water and no face wash. My face felt extremely radiant, soft, smooth, supple. It turned from lifeless to radiant skin. All the dry patches had disappeared.
The results did last for 2 to 3 days. I think that is a good performance form the mask.

I have sensitive skin and breakout easily. But with this mask (leaving it overnight) I had no negative experiences. My skin was calm and not reactions whatsoever.

Overall I feel it’s a great mask or better a moisturizer which is quite expensive. I have seen similar results with Nivea basic mositurising cream. It can also be used like a mask overnight for similar results. But there are times when Nivea causes breakouts on my skin but not Ahava.

So for those of you with very sensitive skin Ahava might work. For those with normal skin and no breakout problems Nivea would be more than sufficient.
