I’m here with another shave-related product. This one’s from Alba Botanica, and my first review for the brand. There are many to choose from for different skin types. My skin is super sensitive and that’s why this one was my pick. Read on to know how it fared for me 🙂

How to Apply :
Apply a thin layer of cream over skin dampened with warm water.
Shave normally, rinsing razor frequently.
Best when used sparingly.
My Experience with Alba Botanica Very Emollient Cream Shave Unscented:
The cream is actually an off-white to transparent gel formula which is gentle on the skin. It’s like a conditioner for the skin, makes my hands silky smooth and super soft to touch! The cream is not exactly a cream but something like a gel. It moisturized my skin so well that there was no need to apply oil later to get rid of the poky-ness of the hair that’s to come. But you should always apply the oil to get rid of the itchy feeling. The cream lets you get a close, clean shave but if your hair is longer than 3mm, it might take a little more effort in hair removal. A few nicks and cuts are ought to happen if you don’t have practice while using a razor. You also need to be careful because if you apply a lot of the cream, it tends to make the razor slip. So it’s always better to apply a little and then spread. The staying power of the hydration provided by this cream is minimum 6 hours! Cool, right? I’m totally happy with my purchase 😀

Yes, if something better doesn’t come along.
Tips :
ALWAYS use baby oil (Johnson’s, preferably) to soothe your skin after shaving.
NEVER use a cream/body lotion/moisturizer after shaving.
If you find an inflamed region on your skin, apply ice immediately as it will cool the area.
NEVER scratch after shaving and especially not an inflamed region after shaving. Instead, apply baby oil to avoid irritation.
