I love lip butters and you may ask why, let me elaborate:
• They are so buttery and smooth.
• Pigmentation is just right.
• They are long lasting.
• The shine is very natural and pretty.
• Feels very light on lips.
I have used Revlon lip butters in the past and loved them. My favorite shade is Pink Truffle but I wanted to try other brands and wanted to try Maybelline color whispers but unfortunately they were out of stock in all the local drug stores and I almost gave up when I had a chance encounter with these Almay lip butters which apparently have good review online and look like Revlon lip butters.
• Ultra-hydrating buttery lip color.
• 98% of women felt lips were instantly hydrated.
• 12 shades expertly coordinated to your unique skin tone.
• Pure Beauty. Hypoallergenic. American Science.

My Take on Almay Nude Light Beige Smart Shade Lip Butter:
I didn’t expect much from this brand but it was amazing how these products compete with higher end brands, with their amazing quality and competitive prices. There were a wide range of lip products to try out but since I was looking for lip butters I picked this one.
Packaging: It looks like Revlon lip butter except the cap has a smooth finish rather than an engraved diamond finish. The cap has a snug fit and does not open while I keep it in my purse or pocket.
Texture: It is super creamy and buttery in texture; however since it is so buttery large quantity gets consumed in a single swatch and regular usage will deplete the product fast. It glides on easily and I won’t recommend a thick layer of lip balm underneath as it makes the entire process cumbersome. A sparingly applied lip balm should suffice.
Color: Very pretty shade of nude with pink undertones which looks pretty on medium skin tone.
Pigmentation: Appreciable pigmentation. Allow the product to set for few seconds and then notice the beautiful pretty pout it sets into. It stays put till the end of the day and mostly survives a big meal as well, one needs minor touch ups to restore pretty pout.
Shimmer and Shine: It has a creamy shine which looks natural and is perfect for office wear.
Fragrance: The product has no fragrance which I personally like.
Conclusion: This is a very pretty and versatile shade. It looks pretty on all types of skin tones and goes with all sorts of dresses. I like how they have classified shades as per skin tone – there are colors for fair, medium and dark skin and the last two genres are perfect for Indian skin tone. They are very smooth but stays put between meals; I had to touch it only once throughout the day and it didn’t leave a stain behind. It feels very light and is easy to remove with any makeup remover.
Pros of Almay Nude Light Beige Smart Shade Lip Butter:
• Attractive, sturdy packaging.
• Ideal shade for all types of skin tones.
• Shade range caters to all kind of skin tones.
• Range has a natural finish.
• No fragrance.
• Very creamy and easy to apply.
• Not that expensive.
• One swatch gives good color payoff.
• Ideal for pigmented lips.
• Decent wear time.
Cons of Almay Nude Light Beige Smart Shade Lip Butter:
• Quantity is not that appreciable.
• Large quantity gets consumed in one swatch.
Would I Repurchase Almay Nude Light Beige Smart Shade Lip Butter?
Yes and would try out other shades as well. I recommend it to all those who are on the lookout for good lip products. If one enjoyed Revlon lip butters then they will enjoy these for sure.

OMG Sakshi, this literally screams me!! I have been searching for a good lip color which imparts shine, hydrates my lips, transfers less and stays for long!! I finally found the one 😀 😀 Thanks Sakshi and you look amazing… Please review more shades from this range 😛 😀
My lips but butter kind of shade for a whole lot of skin tones, for me too 🙂
I am not fan of light shades since most of them look dull. But this is something else..I love it looks on you 🙂
