Hope all of you are fine! Today, I am here to share another gem from my hair care army which helped me achieve picture perfect silky hair throughout my trip. Yes gals, my hair is naturally frizzy and slightly curled at ends and they need frequent trimming and conditioning to make them look naturally silky and frizz free. However, it is not an easy task considering pollution and extreme weather conditions. Thankfully, we do have innovative products in the market now days to deal with multiple issues at a time. And, this Alterna Caviar Anti-Ageing Replenishing Moisture range is one such innovation of beauty science which deals with frizz, dullness, oily scalp and dry hair – at the same time. I picked this Alterna Caviar haircare kit last year and quite liked it.

My Experience with Alterna Caviar Anti-ageing Replenishing Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner:

I had been looking for a change when I noticed these hair treats and picked them up without any second thought. I am glad that I tried it because they are way mild and effective for my frizzy, dry hair. The packaging of both shampoo & conditioner is almost similar and one can hardly notice any difference. I like their hygienic tube packaging which makes it absolutely leak proof, spill proof, user friendly and travel friendly – all in one.

Alterna Caviar Anti-Ageing Replenishing Moisture Shampoo:

Talking about the shampoo first, it is pale white and bit runny in texture. It smells heavenly (sweet citrusy) which is not overpowering. It forms decent lather with 2-3 generous drops of product which is sufficient to squeaky clean my oily scalp along with medium length hair. I had been suffering from after effects of two different climatic and geographical conditions when this shampoo came as a savior to relieve my hair from stress, pollution and further damage.

I like the fact that it does not leave any greasy residue behind other, but soft, silky and bouncy hair which stays put until next wash. Amazing, huh! However, I do need at least two washes to completely clean my oil treated hair. Even if I use it on bare hair, it does not rip moisture off. In fact, I feel lesser & lesser frizz with every wash.

I must say that it completely replaced my traditional oil treatment method and conditioning throughout the trip. I had no time to take care of my skin, forget hair! All I could do was to wash them every 3rd or 4th day to stay away from gunk and dandruff and this shampoo gave me picture perfect results with every wash.

It not only wipe away dirt, gunk and oil off hair, but makes them silky soft smooth in texture as well. My hair is jet black naturally and this shampoo made them silky black in texture which was always a show stealer even when I used to comb them after a day or two. 😛 This shampoo lasted me for full 2 months and I certainly fetched compliments from everyone around for being so tinch-pinch even with no “me” time. And, I would solely give credit to this shampoo first for damage free, frizz free and silky black hair.

However, I do feel that it might be way mild for my oily scalp in summers and hence, I might put it on hold until winters arrive. Other than that, I would always love to get it again & again.

Alterna Caviar Anti-Ageing Replenishing Moisture Conditioner:

Coming to the Conditioner, it is quite thick and creamy in texture which looks quite similar to Alterna Haircare Caviar CC Cream 10-IN-1 Complete Correction. It is another feather on hat which works in conjugation with Alterna Caviar Hair Care products. We just need a generous massage of conditioner post hair wash while it easily rinses out of hair making them feather light and so soft to touch and in appearance.

I don’t use it as often as the shampoo, but I make sure to use it whenever my hair develops frizz and unmanageable knots. Oh yes, there are days in messy mom’s life when she skips combing her hair for 2-3 days making them extremely prone to frizz with messy knots in between (courtesy: weather and heck of responsibilities! :P).

You don’t believe me? Ask any mom of 2-4 year old and she would tell you how she manages to make that perfect messy French twist or bun every time! After all, messy buns and twists are life saviors of many lazy & messy mums and I am not ashamed to call myself both! 😛

Anyway, the point is this conditioner will take care of messy, frizzy hair pretty well. Even if I skip oiling my hair, I follow up with this conditioner and it makes them as soft and frizz free as if I have just walked out of a hair spa. It certainly helped me fight against hair fall as well.

Over all, I feel we don’t need to visit parlors after these two innovative products provided we are regular IMBB followers to know how to groom at home! Jokes apart, I seriously feel so confident with everything that spa seems like a waste of time and money to me now. I would definitely like to get this conditioner all year round especially for frizzy hair and knowing that I can always use it as a detangler tool!

• Lightweight shampoo and conditioner especially meant for dry hair.
• Formulated without sulfates, phthalates, parabens and synthetic colors.
• Both of these perfectly do their job of making hair youthful, stress free, tangle free and problem free with every wash.
• The shampoo is extremely mild on hair and easily cleanses hair with 2-3 generous pumps of product leaving no greasy residue on hair.
• Hair feel feather light, soft and bouncy for good 3-4 days or more.
• It does not accentuate oily hair.
• The shampoo does not rip natural moisture off hair, but it effectively swipes away dirt & dandruff off hair.
• Even the conditioner works well on dry, frizz prone hair making them extremely soft, smooth and feather touch silky even after first wash.
• I never noticed single frizz or tangles on my dry hair with the usage of this conditioner.
• We can easily skip parlor visits after using both shampoo & conditioner from the first day itself.
• Packaging is quite hygienic and travel friendly.

• The shampoo might be way mild for my oily scalp in summers.
• Both shampoo & conditioner are loaded with chemicals and are not completely natural.

Conclusion:
Well, I hardly bother about these cons as long as these products are giving me perfect hair, that too with no parlor visit. The truth is that there is no word like spa in a mom’s dictionary! So, products like this are blessings for us as they make us feel special and loved in the comfort zone of our very own Jurassic park. Oh! Amazed at ‘Jurassic park’? Well, my hubby says that marriage is like walking in the middle of a park only to realize after a year or so that the park is Jurassic park with tiny dinosaurs. Lo ab karlo walk!
