My Experience with Alterna Caviar RepairX Multivitamin Heat Protection Spray:

I like leave in spray for my hair as they tend to get frizzy these leave in treatment come in handy for my daily hair care routine. Previously I was using one from Pureology which I have reviewed on IMBB and though that was a very good one, I still felt the need to try a new one in the hope of finding a better one.

This spray also help protect hairs from heat damage so it has double benefits and coming from a luxury brand it had a great potential of being the best in class.

I have used it mostly on wet hair on many days when I don’t feel like doing the extra conditioning step for my hair care routine. The spray is kind of goopy and looks like a normal hair conditioner only a bit less thick. I have never applied it directly on my hair only because of the thick texture as I have fine hair I feel it might make my hairs all sticky, so I first spray on my palm and mix in between my palm and apply it to the damp towel dried hair. It doesn’t feel sticky or heavy but if too much is applied it might cause weighing down of hair and make them limp.

The smell is very mild and pleasant I can’t relate it to any other fragrance I know but it’s a good one as I have a sensitive nose I have never felt it to be repelling. The spray is heat protecting so I am happy that I don’t have to use another product for that and its formulated without Parabens, Sulfates and Phthalates, what more could I ask for. This makes my hair really soft and gives a healthy shine.
