This review is about Alverde Moisturizing Body Lotion Hibiscus and Cocoa Butter. I bought it because its ingredient list looked quite interesting. Here’s how it fared.

My Experience with Alverde Moisturizing Body Lotion Hibiscus and Cocoa Butter:
Alverde Moisturizing Body Lotion Hibiscus and Cocoa Butter comes in a rectangular bottle with curved edges. It has a flap lid which opens and closes easily. The packaging has all details written on it. It has a picture of hibiscus in front. The flap lid is light brown in colour. It’s easy to place the bottle on the lid so that it’s easy to empty the bottle completely. Since the size is 250 ml it’s good enough for travelling.
The body lotion itself is white in colour. There is no added colour or fragrance. The texture is quite thick. I was expecting runny consistency but this is quite thick. The body milk spreads well on the skin and gets absorbed quite well. It does leave a thin film of oil on the skin. I do not mind it as I have dry skin and this lotion makes my skin look shiny and healthy.
The skin feels soft and smooth when used. The fragrance is of mainly cocoa and slightly floral. I find that the real hibiscus does not smell floral but this product contains hibiscus and also smells slightly floral. I am not sure which flower it smells of. When the body lotion is used, it smells very divine of chocolates.
I prefer using this body milk in colder months. Since it’s very nourishing, it’s perfect for winter months. The fragrance lasts maximum an hour or so. It does not linger around for longer. In my opinion, this is a good body lotion. It has quite a few pros – especially that it’s organic and not expensive.
