Alverde Naturcosmetic Shimmer Powder Pearls

Have you ever seen these round pearls inside a container and asked yourself ‚‘‘What in the world are these for?’’ Well, I know exactly what you were thinking and I wanted to figure this out. I purchased these shimmer pearls a month ago and decided to review this for you.

The Alverde Naturcosmetic Shimmer Powder Pearls comes with a puff that is really soft. I honestly have no idea how to use this puff to apply the highlight on the face unless I want my whole face to shimmer :/ I personally use this with a brush such as a duo fiber brush or any other brush. I just take the brush and swirl it in the container and apply the shimmer over the bridge of my nose and to highlight my cheek bones.
I find that the stiffer the brush, the more product it will pick up. Since these shimmer pearls are the first of its kind I have bought, I can’t compare them with others and can’t tell if the pigmentation of these pearls are normally sheer or not. I like that the pigmentation is sheer though because you can build it up if you want the highlight to look more obvious. The pearls have three different colors; baby pink, beige and light brown.
Let me tell you about the smell. Do you know that smell of your kitchen after you put cookies or a cake in the oven? Yes, that’s how these pearls smell like, very delicious and weird at the same time.
The shelf life time is about 18 months. In my opinion, that is a bummer because I know I won’t use it up till then. On the packaging, it says that it is also made with Goji-Berry extract and without any synthetic substances.
Pros of Alverde Naturcosmetic Shimmer Powder Pearls:
- Smells like some baked product 🙂
- Sheer but easy to build up the colour.
- Super cheap.
- Gives a natural-looking glow.
Cons of Alverde Naturcosmetic Shimmer Powder Pearls:
- The puff that comes with the shimmer pearls is not of much use.
Last Word on Alverde Naturcosmetic Shimmer Powder Pearls:
I have had a good experience with the shimmer pearls. I will give it another try with the Physician’s Formula Shimmer Pearls. I just don’t understand why this would come with a puff. I don’t think anyone would want to apply this highlight like a powder on the face!

Hi Sahar, It seems like you dont need to break a pearl to use it. If you just swirl the brush over the pearls, may be the puff can also be used similar way. But I suppose, the puf may take up a lot more shimmer than what brush can.
I would have loved to see you wearing the shimmer to get better idea. 🙂
