My Experience with Alverde Organic Almond &Shea Butter Nourishing Soft Oil Body Lotion:
The product comes in a white rectangular plastic bottle with a light beige flip cap. The product comes unsealed and the information of the product is in German which can be a little difficult to know and you need to look up to their website to know more on the product. The design is simple and is similar to all the hair and body care products from this brand. The flip cap closes with a click and ensures that there is no leakage. The package is also sleek and you can easily fit it into your bags. Overall, I like the rectangular design!
The product is white in color and has a thick consistency. It is not like the traditional lotions you use. The smell is very creamy and I do not like it. The smell feels like you have taken bath at a waffle/ doughnut factory! My neighbor’s dog was all over me when I applied this lotion. Thank god, he didn’t mistake me to be his food! I personally do not like this fragrance and to top it off, it stays longer! I was smelling creamy even after 6 hours which I am not so pleased with!
The product is made for dry skin. I have been having issues with dryness lightly as I get eczema at times due to some allergens in the air and was looking for a thick cream and when I saw this contained shea butter, I decided I would give it a go. Moisturisation is the key when it comes to skin issues and this one provides intense nourishment to the skin. The cream is a little heavy and it takes a while before it gets absorbed onto the skin. The thick consistency feels like a body butter than a lotion. The product instantly hydrates the skin and eliminates any dryness. If you are suffering from any dryness, this could be a good product. The product gets absorbed well onto the skin and doesn’t leave any greasy residue.
The product nourishes the skin for a good 12 hours and I have absolutely no complaints this case. The products contain ingredients that are organic and for the price, it is a plus. The product makes the skin soft and smooth too. I didn’t notice any radiance from using the lotion but, I noticed that my skin felt very supple. Overall, it promises what it claimed for and I have been falling in love with the products lately! So summing up.
