The recent Valentine’s Day sale all around, gifted me with the benefit to order one of their best-sellers; Calming Wild Rose Shower Gel. I am not a big fan of rose in comparison to lavendar, but the product claims and the brand charm made it too difficult to pass on this one and hence I got my hands on the 200mL bottle of the same. Let me share my experience with this shower gel in this review.

My Experience with Ananda Calming Wild Rose Shower Gel:
The packaging is a light pink textured sturdy cardboard box with the logo in golden and the name of the product in simple black font. The box contains all the manufacturing and best before details apart from the complete list of ingredients and benefits. The product itself comes packaged in a transparent spill-proof pump bottle. The colorless shower gel with the silver pump and the textured pink label adds to the holistic vibe of the product. The bottle label also has details regarding usage, precautions and the ingredients. What caught my eyes was the precaution for usage by pregnant women as the product has pure essential oil. The product list has a number of promising ingredients from rose oil, reetha extract, lemon oil, etc. but it also has paraben-free alcohol which can still be considered as an OK addition.
As the name suggests, the product is in a gel form, and lathers pretty easily. A little product goes a long way and it gets easily washed off as well. The smell of the product is what caught my senses unaware as I used it for the first time. The smell is of rose, but not of the typical rose water that we use. It is mild yet completely satisfying and you end up feeling fresh and rejuvenated. The scent however does not last long post bath, but your bathroom does get enveloped in a sweet aroma. I have dry skin and this shower gel did not dry my skin any further; but I could not give my moisturiser a miss. The after bath effect is definitely a soft hydrated skin and a fresh you!
