Hope all of you are doing great. If there is one thing on my face that I have neglected for the longest time, it is my brows. Obviously, I get them threaded but that is the extent I would go for them. For us oily skin ladies with acne issues, it is not an easy task to get ready in the morning. We cannot just walk out the door after applying a BB cream or we will be an oily mess in just a few hours with no coverage what so ever. Every morning all my time and energy goes in to concealing the zits and blemishes and working towards keeping the shine away from my face for as long as possible. As I accomplish that goal, I assume who has the time for anything else and rush out the door. It was not too long ago that I realized the importance of polished looking brows and that it takes just a few minutes to achieve it. The product that takes the least amount of time and is easiest to use to get the desired results is a brow gel and that is what I am sharing with you all today. Let us talk about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear brow gel.

Packaging:

Anastasia seems to have changed the packaging for this gel. While all her products were in classy black cardboard boxes, this was the only one responsible for the pop of color on the brand’s counter. It looked like a candy that some kid forgot. I confirmed with the SA at Sephora if this was the right product. Anyway, this clear gel comes in a glossy silver tube that looks like a mascara tube. A pink plastic covers the tube all over and has to be peeled off to get to the actual product. The tube is very lightweight and is easy to pop in your makeup bag.

Water/Eau/Aqua, Vp/Va Copolymer, Alcohol Denat., Propylene Glycol,, Triethanolamine, Carbomer, Glycerin, Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans, Butylene, Glycol, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tetrasodium, Edta, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Ethylparaben, Butylparaben,, Isobutylparaben.

My Experience with Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel:

Who knew spending just a few minutes on filling the brows and setting them will bring so much difference to my whole look. I started by using a dark brown eye shadow as my brow powder and Maybelline clear mascara as my brow gel. It seemed to work fine, but I wanted to use a real brow gel, so I decided to give this gel a try. Anastasia brow gels are available in various shades, which you can use if you have sparse brows and it will save you time as you would not have to use any other product to fill your eyebrows. Although my brows are not sparse but I do have long brow hair that does not stay in place and I hate that. So, I got the clear gel that works just like the gel we use to set our hair.

The brush on the band is decent size and works well on my brows. The consistency of this gel is perfect, not too thick nor too runny. It does have a strong chemical scent but it goes away in a few seconds of application.  Whenever I have time on my hands, I use a brow powder to fill in my brows and then use this gel in small strokes in the direction of hair to set it otherwise I just brush the gel through the brows and I am good to go. It dries up quickly after applying and keeps my eyebrow hair in place for hours. It does not feel sticky or crunchy. Even after spending the whole day outside, my eyebrows look natural without any crusting or flaking. I am very impressed with it.

All I have to say is that Anastasia clear brow gel does what it is supposed to and does it pretty darn well. The cheaper ones that I have tried from the drug store do not compare to this. I will continue buying this gel unless I find something that works as well without breaking the bank.

4.5/5 (I would have loved it more if it was more affordable as I use it every day).  If your brows are hard to manage and you long for the look with well groomed and polished eyebrows then try the Anastasia clear brow gel.
