My Experience with Anastasia Beverly Hills Highlighter Brush 23 Review
Along with the Peach Nectar Highlighter, I picked up this highlighting brush from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I’d call it a smallish blush brush that is perfect for applying highlight. Since it is a small brush, it fits just right on the smaller areas of the face without going all over. I use it to highlight my cheekbones, nose and even cupid’s bow. It is a natural bristles brush and a rather soft one. I have gotten around to using it quite obsessively for all things highlighting. And this has gone under a few washes already. During the first 1-2 washes a few bristles shed but they don’t anymore. The brush has also held its shape well. The brush is very lightweight and makes for an easy handling. The bristles are packed in a tapered manner at the ferrule so that makes it a great precision brush. You don’t have to worry about your highlighter going all over the place with this brush. It is dense enough to pick enough product and fluffy enough to blend it as well. It fluffiness of the brush makes it perfect to give a smooth and seamless blending to the highlighter.
I would not call it a must have because you can even use a fan brush or a fluffy eyeshadow brush for highlight application. But this one is just an ideal one for specific application. I’d say it is an excellent addition to any makeup lover’s kit.The brush is very soft and has held its shape even after a couple of washes and lots of usage. The brush feels like of good quality in terms of bristles, the handle or ferrule. I would highly recommend it if you can get hold of it.:)
