My Experience with Anastasia Beverly Hills Peach Nectar Illuminator

I am obsessed with highlighters. When someone tells me that I wear too much highlighter, I pretty much ignore the comment or convince them that they need to too. loll! I really wanted to get hold of one of the highlighter from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I picked up the shade Peach Nectar. It is described as Apricot Gold. I’d say that it is a peachy highlighter with champagne gold sheen. It is gorrrrgeous to say the least. I love that it has that warmth to it. It goes perfectly with my warm olive skin tone. Sometimes when the highlighters don’t have that warmth, they can look really ashy on some skin tones. This one comes with just the right amount of color, warmth and highlight.

It comes in a simple and effective black packaging. It has a flip-top cap with mirror on the inside. There is a fan like pattern embossed on the product. The highlighter has a beautiful smooth texture. It almost feels creamy powdery and goes like a dream on the skin. It does not accentuate my pores, does not go ashy on my skin, does not look glittery and gives the prettiest glow. Plus, it stays on for good 6-7 hours on my normal-dry skin. I LOVE IT! I love that the powder is really smooth and does not have any chunky glitters in it. The shimmers blend in well with the skin and looks very natural. If is a very pigmented and a buildable formula. It makes an ideal highlighter for all skin tones. You can use it soft or can go all out with it. It is a stunner and you’d love every bit of it.
An Absolute fav of mine! πŸ™‚ The only problem is that these highlighters from ABH have become so popular that they run out of stock very soon. So keep an eye on them and don’t miss a chance to grab one whenever you can! πŸ™‚

  1. Wow such a perfect highlighter. Who would not love to own this gorgeous beauty! Just love it on you. And we always need too much highlighter, don’t let the world tell you otherwise. πŸ˜‰

    1. yes. sometimes mary lou tends to look ashy on my skintone. This one does not because of its peachy undertones but that is a great highlighter as well πŸ™‚

  2. We can never have too many highlighter and neither can we have too much highlighter on! πŸ˜‰

This shade looks made for you Rati! Its truly complementing your skin so well. I really controlled the urge to pick one of Anastasia’s highlighters…lets see how long i manage the self control.

    1. yes. you have to keep your skin matte and then apply the highlighter. you want the shine to show at the right places not all over the face…if that makes sense πŸ™‚
