Anatomicals Chocolate Truffle Bath Creme
Anatomicals is a U.K. based skin care brand, popular for giving quirky, humorous description to its products. I have used a few products from this brand and I find them just average. I have reviewed their hand & foot cream hereon IMBB, I got their chocolate truffle bath crème and hazelnut body scrub sometime back. I learnt that these have been produced in collaboration with chocolate giant Cadbury.
I have to admit that both of these have left me fairly impressed unlike the products I have used before from this brand. I am reviewing here the chocolate truffle bath crème which is basically a shower creme.
I got this for around 5-6 pounds (INR 450-500) for 500 ML.
The shower gel comes in a bulky, sturdy plastic bottle which is brown in colour, with a silver dispensing cap on top. The packaging is cute and looks great standing on my bathroom shelf. 😀
My Experience with Anatomicals Chocolate Truffle Bath Creme:
I am totally hooked on to this one. The shower crème is just A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! It smells/feels exotic with the chocolate fragrance it carries. The fragrance is exactly like Cadbury’s dairy milk chocolate. Whenever I use this in the shower, I feel as if it’s just melted chocolate I am using :D. The shower crème is an absolute delight for chocolate lovers like me. I really find it difficult to keep myself away from gulping this down 😀 Reminds me a lot of TBS products and particularly of TBS coco butter range; cocoa butter body wash. The warning on the packaging that it is not a food stuff has been aptly placed 😀
As opposed to a shower gel, this is a rather creamy formula; Fits the bill for winters. Well, I was not expecting it to lather a lot but surprisingly it does! I need just little amount of this to produce good lather. It cleans thoroughly and leaves my skin soft. I am a major fan of TBS and H2O shower gels for their moisturising properties and I find this pretty comparable.
I like this shower crème a lot and now I use it sparingly as I don’t want to finish this off fast. If I can get my hands on this product again, I am definitely repurchasing.
Pros of Anatomicals Chocolate Truffle Bath Creme:
- Smells heavenly of chocolates – Cadbury’s dairy milk to be precise.
- Creamy formula apt for winters.
- Lathers up well.
- Cleans thoroughly without drying up my skin.
- Good 500 ml quantity is provided in one bottle which lasts for long.
- Cute packaging.
- Contains sodium laureth sulphate which is considered better over sodium lauryl sulphate as a foaming agent.
Cons of Anatomicals Chocolate Truffle Bath Creme:
- Needs to be purchased online.
- The chocolate fragrance gets a little irresistible 😛 😀 😀 😀
