I have been quite slack in writing reviews for the past couple of months. I’m expecting my first baby and was getting used to pregnancy and related issues. Just entered second trimester and I’m excited and looking forward to bub’s arrival next year 😛 I have been reading IMBB regularly and have purchased quite a few products in the past couple of months, and will be reviewing them one by one.  I will be reviewing “Look, You’ve Got Chocolate All Over Your Face Anti-Stress Face Mask” from the brand Anatomicals! I received this little sachet face mask in a pack of three and have just got round to finishing these up, since the number of face masks in my stash is quite honestly obscene and keeps growing. I love the Montagne Jeunesse Chocolate Face Mask, so had high expectations for this one. Anatomicals is quite a new brand for me as it only arrived in Australia this year. For those of you who haven’t yet heard of this fantastic and reasonably-priced brand, Anatomicals produces fun and extremely affordable toiletries. Their product range includes skin care, hair care, bath and body as well as lip care. They also have very cute travel sets with eye masks. On my recent visit to Target, I also saw some cool gift packs for Christmas.

Our cocoa anti-stress mask will leave your skin calm, relaxed and radiant. Infact, you’ll look good enough to eat. Think we’ll start with your lips.  The skin healing properties of dead sea salt combined with the moisturising benefits of Cocoa butter and shea butter will have your skin feeling de-stressed, renewed and glowing with health.

Directions For Use:

Soak face with a moist, warm cloth. Blotdry. Applycontents, avoiding eyes.

My Experience with Anatomicals Look You’ve Got Chocolate All Your Face Anti-Stress Mask:

I used this mask a couple of months back, during winter time. I felt the fragrance and texture of this mask is more apt for winter. The sachet is supposed to be for a single use, but I got 2 full face and neck applications out of this single sachet.  Three of these sachets come in one pack. I started applying it on cleansed skin and spread the thick and creamy chocolate all over my face and neck. The consistency is quite thick, but still easy to spread.  I followed the directions and left the mask for 15 minutes and wiped off with a damp cloth. The chocolaty goodness, which smelt and felt just like melted chocolate did give me a good relaxing effect.  On application, there was a slight warming sensation, but not too much to bother or concern me.

After use, my skin felt soft and supple and I did feel relaxed. However, I did not feel a “wow” effect and neither did it add any “glow” as claimed. I wouldn’t say this face mask is a wonder cure for all skin problems, but a reasonably priced product for weekly use. This product is not as good as Lush cupcake nor the Montagne Jeunesse Chocolate Face Mask, but still comes close.

Positives of Anatomicals Look You’ve Got Chocolate All Your Face Anti-Stress Mask:

• The fragrance helps me relax and can serve as a weekly treat.
• Moisturizes and makes skin supple.
• Comes in a single-use sachet which contains enough product for two uses.
• Reasonably priced.

Negatives of Anatomicals Look You’ve Got Chocolate All Your Face Anti-Stress Mask:

• Contains very less amount of natural ingredients.
• It is difficult to store a half-used sachet as it gets hard quite soon.
• Might not be available easily in all countries.

I would not repurchase this product immediately as I have used up all three sachets and would like to try different varieties of face masks from the same brand.
