We all are surrounded by gadgets and we are most of the time either on our phones, glued to the television or to the laptop which takes a toll on the eyes in a long run. I keep such gel masks handy to put them on my eyes at-least once a day to relax them. I picked up a super cute one from Anatomicals; so let’s see how it worked for me.
Price: 5.50 Euros/Rs 420
Product Description by Anatomicals: Place a coin in your mouth and decapitate yourself with a sharp ace. Alternatively, boil your head in vinegar and proceed to bury yourself face downwards. Or perhaps remove your heart, cut it in two and stuff a clove of garlic in your mouth and then put a nail in your head. ‘hey’ we only want you for your body aren’t these a tad extreme for my eyes that aren’t quite as fresh and tight skinned as they could be? Oh you spoilsport, but perhaps you’re right, so try this gel filled mask. Having said that, are you sure you wouldn’t prefer to chain yourself to a gravestone with wild roses?
Directions: Simply pop it in the fridge for half an hour for a cool, refreshing treatment to relieve you of those bags. It can also be placed in hot (not boiling) water for ten minutes for a soothing, relaxing warm eye mask.
My Experience with Anatomicals Puffy the Eye Bag Slayer Revitalising Eye Mask:
Packaging: The eye mask comes in a super cute hot pink box with yellow, black and white fonts over it. The box looks very catchy and the packaging is one of the main reasons why I picked it up. The eye mask comes in a transparent plastic packaging with thick red gel filled inside it. It has the name written over it which makes it look even better. What I liked about this eye mask is that it is small in size and fits on my eyes perfectly. The other masks are very big and you cannot sleep properly with them on. But with this everything works perfectly fine.
Feel on the eyes: I usually cool it for a while and then place it on my eyes. You have to make sure to place it in the fridge and not in the freezer, because if there is ice on it, then it will melt directly on the eyes! And extremely cold water is not great for the sensitive eye area. It is very gentle on my eyes and the plastic doesn’t hurt too. The strand fits on my head very nicely keeping the eye mask tight.
Results: The eye mask instantly provides a cooling sensation to my eyes which is why my eyes feel extremely relaxed and soothed. The moment my eyes feel tired, I place this on them and my eyes get refreshed instantly. It does work well on the puffy eyes as it takes away all the puffiness because of the “cool feel” and the soft gel. But the results are temporary, to soothe down puffiness for a while, it is sure to come back too. My eyes look fresh and bright and it makes them ready for any makeup application. After treating my eyes with this, the makeup glides smoothly since all the dryness goes away. A must have for every woman.
