I have always thought about the amount of chemical components in our lives – right from the food we eat to what we apply on our skin, and also how much it’s possible to get rid of those chemicals! The answer can be different for everyone, but we can, in our own little way, reduce the usage of those chemicals which might be doing us great harm in the long run. Today, I have a body lotion for review that claims to be natural! Well, let’s see:

This lotion form Andalou Naturals comes in a tube with a flip top cap which is too strong for my fingers 😛 Trust me, I have a hard time whenever I open or close it. The packaging is sturdy and travel friendly.

My Experience with Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Soothing Body Lotion:

After using a load of products from various brands, I did want to try something from the natural skin care range. There are a lot of natural skin care brands at organic food stores and natural medicine pharmacies here. I picked this up from Whole Foods during a grocery shopping trip 😀

The cream blends well into the skin and doesn’t feel sticky or greasy on skin, and it absorbs like a dream. The major difference I notice in this lotion and the other creams like BBW and vs is that the lotion looks rich yet it’s lightweight and sinks into the skin in no time, but yes, this won’t work for very dry skin.  The smell is just like fresh cut rose petals.  Since it’s natural, there’s no GMO, and it’s organic, gluten free and cruelty free.

I feel that using this lotion wouldn’t harm me in the long run and I am doing my part in “going organic.” There is a body butter in the same variant and I am planning to get that next.
