Today, I am going to review a cream which I bought in winters. I finished up my Lotus Whiteglow Micro Emulsion and I was looking for a heavier moisturiser than it because my oily skin had become extremely dry at that time. I spotted this cream at an online store and thought it will make a good night cream.
Rs. 210 for 50 gm.
My Experience with Aroma Magic Nourishing Dew Cream:
Aroma Magic Nourishing Dew Cream comes in a jar with typical Aroma Magic packaging. I am quite bored with their white jars and red screw caps. They seriously need to give a thought about changing their packaging. I love the packaging of their new face washes. Anyway, I should stop cribbing about the packaging and talk about the cream now. I forgot to mention that no matter how boring the packaging is, it definitely is sturdy, handy and lightweight. You can keep it in your hand bag without worrying about any spillage.
This cream has a peachy white color. I apologize for not being able to explain the color properly. I sometimes think I am color blind because I can never mention the exact color. Anyway, the color of the cream isn’t exactly white and neither is it exactly peach. It is somewhere in between these two. It has a nice, herbal fragrance to it. A small amount of product is required for the entire face. I used this cream as a night cream last month and I was quite satisfied with it.
I have oily and acne-prone skin. This cream didn’t break me out at all. I used to apply this after cleansing and toning my face. It spreads very well on my face and gets absorbed within a minute. It takes a few seconds to a minute to get absorbed, but doesn’t make my face greasy after that. My face doesn’t look oily or greasy the next morning. It makes my skin soft and supple and definitely helps in removing all the dry patches from my face. It doesn’t provide any SPF protection. I avoided using it in the day because I thought this moisturiser might be heavy for use during day time on my oily skin. I won’t recommend it in summers and at day time for oily skin. It works really well in winters at nights and will work equally well at daytime for dry skinned and combination skinned beauties.
If you have dry patches or if you need a moisturiser to combat extreme dryness in winters, this cream will make a good choice. It says that it is a light day cream, but I disagree with it. It does make my skin look bright, healthy and supple, but doesn’t help with acne marks and blemishes. It doesn’t reduce acne breakout too and neither helps with already existing acne.
Pros of Aroma Magic Nourishing Dew Cream:
- Blends very well into skin.
- Doesn’t make my face oily or greasy.
- Makes my skin bright and supple. My skin looks healthy the next morning.
- Removes and prevents dry patches.
- A good choice in winters.
- Doesn’t increase acne break outs.
- Makes a good night cream.
Cons of Aroma Magic Nourishing Dew Cream:
- No SPF.
- It is kind of heavy for oily-skinned beauties at day time.
- Doesn’t help with already existing acne or acne marks.
Will I Repurchase/Do I Recommend Aroma Magic Nourishing Dew Cream?
You can give it a try if you are looking for a heavy night moisturiser to moisturise your face fully and remove all the dry patches. If you are looking for a light moisturiser for summers and moreover, if you have oily skin, you should wait for winters and then get this.
Have a nice day 🙂
