How To Arrange Your Stuff

How To Arrange Your Stuff

Hi Ladies,

It’s been a long time since I wrote something on IMBB.  Recently, I was re-arranging the stuff in my wardrobe and my mom pointed out that I turn even junk into useful things.  So, I thought why not just share how you can arrange and store your things and save space.

Lipstick Case:

How To Arrange Your Stuff

Rings

I’d never say this is a junk piece.  I purchased this case for Rs. 10/-.  I store my rings in this case.  I am not a makeup person.  While travelling, I can carry the rings in this case without losing them and also its a small case, which can fit in your handbag well.

Refrigerator Tray:

Rewind to your good old childhood.  If you remember those old refrigerators, you would remember this tray. These wired trays were what the old refrigerators used to have.  You can use this refrigerator tray to hang all your earrings without messing up or pinning them up with others. It is also easy to pick up the correct one while on the go.  I now regret not flicking the other trays also when we sold the refrigerator.

Hangers:

Glass Bangles

Hangers are something which can be used in many ways to store stuff.  Here, I have used them for two purposes, one is to hang chains and another one to hang bangles.  You can hang the hanger with the bangles on to the wall, the same way as you can hang the tray with earrings to save space.

Bangle stand

Remove the tiny little knot and you are all set to use it for arranging bangles.

Bangles

This is how I use the space for everything.

Eyeliner Applicator:

Eyeliner brush

This is an eyeliner applicator I picked up from an expired eyeliner.  Wondering how this is useful? I use this as part of my nail art kit.  This applicator is useful to draw thin lines on the nails.

Apart from these, I use empty cartons to arrange my daily-use creams and all other stuff that use on a day-to-day basis.  This helps me not to mess up my wardrobe. Even if I misplace something, it’s sure going to be inside this because I have a habit of throwing things in a hurry in this box only

  2. hey the refrigerator and hanger thing is sooo coool…..must keep your earrings and bangles untangled , no? and makes for awesome wall decorations too

  3. Nice post Akshatha… Me also store my long chains on hangers :haanji: …helps to avoid getting all tangled up esp the ones having thin chains :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: Good morningssssssss ladies :woot: :woot:

  4. Refridgerator tray idea is awesome 🙂 will try it, even i used hangers for storing bangles, then the number of bangles increased 🙂 so bought a separate bangle holder…
So much earrings :woot: :woot: :woot:

  5. loved the hanger idea. have lots of bangles so this is perfect. I usually store my delicate earrings like studs and tiny dangling ones in ‘pills’ boxes. I use shoe boxes for my big necklaces and i usually separate the other heavy chunky ones and the traditional stuff into jewelry boxes. I do remember to keep them all in one place else i myself forget what i have :hihi: :hihi:

  6. heyyy Akshatha

      1. Hi TA

I’ve actually nailed them inside my wardrobe on the side wall.. so its just beside my dresses, making it easy to pick my accessories.. And u don’t have to dust them, cause your wardrobe will be closed 99.99% of the day.. :hihi:

        1. Exactly Akshatha….so either I need a bigger wardrobe or I need to find a smaller tray :hihi: :hihi: Btw nice name, what does it mean? 🙂

  13. great tips…  love ur hanger and fridge-tray ideas.. :rose: I’ve six big racks in my dressing table so allocated each one for each set of cosmetics or creams…. But can u share me any tips for storing bags.. I’ve more of them and finding it very difficult to store.. :chewnails:

    1. Laxmi I put my bags in a plastic bag ( using transparent plastic bags would make things easier ) and then store them in the case that you get to store sarees the see through plastic zippered cases you get na.. that way I can protect them from dirt and moisture too and they dont get creased /folded, also with transparent plastic bags it becomes easier to locate your bags once u place them in the saree case… :)) :))

      1. Thats a great idea Dipti   ….I think then u can hang them also na.. :methinks: as biggest problem I face is crunching them all together :headbang: :headbang:

  14. lovely ideas…..d hanger 1 do already i act put my hair clips also on a hanger……and when i was in hostel i used 2 hang my tearings on a big thermocol sheeth i stuck 2 d wall….. 😉 😉 😉 😉 😉

  15. ZOMG! I must make sure that my dad doesn’t stumble upon this post somehow. :headbang: He’s bound to take a printout and wave it under my nose trying to pressurise me into cleaning my deliciously dirty room. :waiting:
Great post, Akshatha! I loved the refrigerator tray idea! :happydance: And the creams in carton box is genius! :woot: :woot: :woot: My table keeps getting messy because I tend to scatter all my stuff. :dumb:
