Assured Raspberry Moisturizing Shave Cream for Sensitive Skin Review

Greetings to all IMBB beauties!!

Summer season is here and I am sure there are many like me, who love summer just because we get to sport shorts and skirts. It’s fun to flaunt legs in cute shorts and they are so much more comfortable than those skinny jeans which make one sweat to death. But, beauty comes at a price and I know how much we all try to get a good hair growth on our scalp and no growth on other parts of the body! Some of us have the luxury and time for waxing every now and then, but most of us resort to shaving and suffer razor burns and nicks. Hence, it is better to use a shave cream for this purpose. I have used Silk Shave Cream in the past and then decided to try some other brand and bought this one. Keep reading to know more about it.

My Experience with Assured Raspberry Moisturizing Shave Cream for Sensitive Skin:

Assured Raspberry Moisturizing Shave Cream for Sensitive Skin Review

In the past, I would use only soap lather to shave my legs which worked just fine except that it would hurt my skin, especially thighs and would give me visible burns and nicks which would stay for a while and soon it would be time for another shave session and also, for more razor burns. I decided to include a shave cream in my routine to get a closer and smoother shave which did work for me, but now I have moved on to a better at home, DIY shaving routine which gives me even better result – more on that later!

Packaging: The cream comes in a pressurized can – baby pink in color with a plastic cap on top. It has a plastic nozzle which dispenses product when it is pressed. Product comes out the way cream frosting comes out.

Texture: It looks and feels like the way any shave cream feels like except that it has a very sweet fragrance which gives it a more feminine appeal.

Fragrance: Like I said, it has a very sweet fragrance – Raspberry flavor gives it an relishing aroma and since it looks like frosting, it makes me want to eat it. 😛

Efficacy: It does give a smoother and cleaner shave, but makes me wonder if there is any difference between this shave cream and the one meant for men. In fact, if there is any difference in any shave creams in market – chemically speaking. If appearance and fragrance are kept aside, I doubt if one would know the difference. But psychologically speaking, it might matter to most of us but I have used men’s shaving creams in case of emergencies and they work just fine too.

Would I Repurchase Assured Raspberry Moisturizing Shave Cream for Sensitive Skin?
No, not because it is not good because I like my at-home options better. But yes, I do recommend it to all those who use just soap lather for shaving and get severe razor burns.

  1. Your question is very thought provoking Sakshi – what makes women shave cream differ from men! I don’t shave and go for regular wax but still hope you’ll share your DIY shave cream with us. 🙂
