I’m back with yet another bold lippie from my stash. This one’s also a part of my dear brother’s German haul gift for me. The lipstick that I’m going to present to you in detail today is Astor Cosmetics Soft Sensation Lipstick in the shade #360. Astor Cosmetics is yet another European drugstore brand that sells amazing products at a very affordable price. So let’s see what this lipstick has in store for us.

My Experience with Astor Cosmetics #360 Color & Care Soft Sensation Lipstick:

The lipstick comes in a very boring and drab rectangular, white plastic case which has metallic pink touches here and here to indicate the colour family. Likewise, it has hints of red on a red lippie and so on. This makes it super convenient to find the shade in a rush in case one has more shades from the brand. The case click locks nicely and can thus be carried around easily.
The shade #360 is a dark, plummy pink shade which I totally adore. This is once again a shade which I feel, can easily be rocked a lotttt of complexions. This is an instant face brightener and is best worn with minimal makeup. I prefer it with a neat base, well defined eyes and some deep pink blush. For girls who find reds to be monotonous, they can very well use this one for evening parties and other events.

The lipstick has a soft, fruity fragrance which can only be felt by sniffing on the bullet closely ( yes I enjoy sniffing on my make up :p ) and there’s nothing bothersome about it. The texture of this lippie is a nice satiny matte one. I prefer this finish to the extremely creamy, buttery ones as the bullets in these ones are wayyy less prone to breakage. It smoothens out all the lines, on the lips and gives the lips a nice and healthy look. It doesn’t dry out the lips over time and there’s no need for an additional layer of lip balm with this one.

In terms of pigmentation, this one’s a total winner. In one swipe the lips are completely coated with colour which I feel is commendable as I hate layering products. Post application the lippie settles to a semi matte finish in some time and doesn’t transfer much. This is something which I totally enjoy as I hate the ‘tell-tale’ marks left behind by creamy lipsticks. The staying power of this lipstick is pretty awesome as well. It stays for some good 4-5 hours and efficiently survives the in between snacks but it fades off post a heavy meal leaving behind a pretty dark pink stain which I like.

• The shade would look great on a lot of skin tones

• Satin matte finish which is non- drying
• Doesn’t transfer much
• Good staying power

Overall, I quite liked the lipstick. This was the first time I came across this brand and I found the product quite impressive for the price. If I come across this brand again, I would definitely buy more products. For girls who liked this shade but can’t find this brand around them, I recommend a similar shade which is, Rimmel #120 Cutting Edge .
