Hair-sprays are something that I do not use on a regular basis but I need this one because I wanted some volume near the roots. My hair looks perfect from the shaft but from the roots they are very flat, plus the hair-fall seems to be taking a toll. So, something to give a lift was very much needed and this came into picture. See how this worked for me!

My Experience with Aussie Aussome Volume Hair Spray Gel:
Packaging: The volume spray gel comes in a glossy violet packaging like the other Aussie products. It is a medium sized cylindrical bottle filled with the gel. It has a spray nozzle which ensures a proper spraying near the roots. The bottle looks very attractive and gorgeous. The glossy and vibrant packaging surely makes it an eye catching one. The bottle is medium in size which makes it handy enough to be carried. The price is pretty decent since hair spray gels from all the brands cost somewhere around this price or even higher.
Consistency, smell and feel on the hair: The consistency is just like water with added gel which makes it a little bit thicker than water. But on the hair it goes just like a serum. It anytime works better on damp hair, but if needed to set a hair-do, it will work fine on dry hair as well. It smells really good and luxurious and that is the best part about Aussie. It keeps my hair smelling fresh and fruity all day long. It does not feel heavy at all on the hair like the other hair-sprays. It looks wet initially but then dries up soon in the hair. But we need to be really careful, since we use volumizing sprays on thin hair and if over-sprayed it can make it greasy and sticky. The hair spray does not make my hair greasy, crunchy or stiff. It has a good hold but without hardness which is awesome.
Results: I am a bit disappointed when it comes to volume because the volume provided was something which was very less. It just gave a lift to my hair and not some great volume. I could see bulginess but that can be achieved by teasing the hair too. It is a really good hair spray to be used when it comes to holding a hairstyle. It holds the hairstyle for a couple of hours and the hair look very manageable. It promises a good strong hold without making hair crunchy and that is what it exactly does. So if you need a good hairstyle holding spray, then go for this one.

Cons of Aussie Aussome Volume Hair Spray Gel:

• Might make hair sticky and greasy if over-sprayed.
IMBB Rating: 3.5/5
Will I Repurchase/Recommend Aussie Aussome Volume Hair Spray Gel?
No I wouldn’t because I have a lot of hair sprays and I use them occasionally. But if you are looking for something to hold your hairstyle without stiffness, then do try it but not for the volume.
Conclusion: Aussie is one hair-care brand to try especially their deep conditioning treatments because they are the best!
