I was dying to get my hands on some Aussie products after reading some awesome reviews on IMBB. So, as soon as I got the chance, I got some Aussie stuff and this Aussie Miracle Dry Shampoo Aussome Volume is a part of that haul. Read on to know more details about this shampoo.

My Experience with Aussie Miracle Dry Shampoo Aussome Volume:
There are 3 variations of Aussie’s dry shampoo; Colour Mate for coloured hair, Mega Instant for normal or greasy hair, and Aussome Volume for fine/limp hair. They come in 65 mL cans and 180 mL cans. As I have extremely fine and limp hair, I chose the Aussome Volume variant.
My hair is not very greasy, but yeah, I do encounter situations where I have no time to shampoo to get rid of the “I shampooed-my-hair-5 days-ago” look 😛 This dry shampoo was bought keeping in mind those situations. I have made use of this dry shampoo on several occasions to gauge its effectiveness. I have used it two days, three days as well as five days (I cannot go more than 5 days without shampooing) after shampooing to see how it worked.
My hair is usually presentable two days after shampooing if I do not step out of the house on both days. When used in such a situation, the dry shampoo did add volume and lift to my “now-turning-limp” hair. It was very effective in removing greasiness.
When I used this dry shampoo after three days of shampooing (my hair had turned quite greasy and oily, especially near the roots), the dry shampoo took away all the greasiness. It also added volume to my limp hair and made it look lively.
I also tested this dry shampoo after 5 days of shampooing, when my hair was covered with greasiness and looked really limp and kind of dead! The shampoo did not take away all the greasiness but it did make my hair look a little presentable. It also added a slight volume to my hair, but the number of sprays I had to do was quite a lot.
The great thing about this shampoo is that it does not leave any white cast in the hair. My hair looks as good as shampooed. It is a really lightweight spray, did not make my hair heavy or greasy.
The lasting power of this dry shampoo is also quite good. My hair managed to stay oil free for a good 8-9 hours after using this shampoo.
The only thing that bothered me about this product was its strong smell. We all want our hair to smell good. This dry shampoo does not have that chemical smell, but rather a sweet scent that gives an impression that the hair has been recently shampooed, but the thing is that this smell is rather strong. Sensitive noses can skip this.
Pros of Aussie Miracle Dry Shampoo Aussome Volume:
- Easy to use packaging.
- Instantly freshens up hair.
- Nice smell.
- Works effectively even on very greasy hair.
- Adds volume and lifts limp hair.
- Lasting power is good, works for 8-9 hours after application.
- Does not weigh down hair.
- Does not cause any hair fall.
Cons of Aussie Miracle Dry Shampoo Aussome Volume:
- Very strong scent.
- Availability in India.
- Slightly expensive.

This one seems to be better than a lot of other dry shampoos. I like it, after looking at all of its plus points, I would not even call it expensive. It’s good value for money especially if it works fine with fifth day hair. Good review Cherry.
This is the first dry shampoo that actually works!
First time hearing about Aussome volume shampoo. That too dry. Will have to try then.
Awesome hearing about this wonderful dry shampoo but I don’t know why, I don’t use dry shampoos. I would rather wash my hair and be late than to use a dry shampoo. I just feel uncomfortable 😛 But no doubt, this one is amazing.. 😀
