Today, I will be reviewing another interesting product for you all and it’s from the brand Australis – their Cya Later Pores Spot Primer. As suggested by the name, it is a pore minimizing primer with a very unique name. So without further ado, let’s get into the review:
A spot primer that creates a flawless base and smooth complexion. Minimise the appearance of pores and other imperfections with this non-greasy and moisturising primer.
Cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone, silica, dimethicone/vinyl dimethiconecrosspolymer, dimethiconecrosspolymer, isononylisononanoate, polymethyl methacrylate, laureth-4, prunusamygdalusdulcis (sweet almond) oil, tocopheryl acetate, aluminum hydroxide, hydrogen dimethicone, ci 77891 (titanium dioxide), ci 77492/ ci 77491/ ci 77499 (iron oxides).
My Experience with Australis Cosmetics Cya Later Pores Spot Primer:
There is nothing out of the box about the packaging. It comes in a regular squeeze tube with sturdy plastic cap. The product name is written in red colour in large font and all other information is printed at the back. It is a travel-friendly product. For the said price, you get 20 ml of the product which is quite affordable.
First of all, it is a silicon-based primer, so I don’t use it as much as I would use any moisturizer kind of primer as silicon is not very good for use on skin. I use it sparingly when I really have to fill in my pores for a function or shoot where I know my pores will not look so great. I would compare this with NYX Pore filler, they both do the same job but there is a huge price difference in both.
I believe NYX prier is over priced just because it carries a better brand name. Anyway, moving on to texture, it feels mousse-y as soon as you start blending and gets into the skin quite seamlessly. It does not have any fragrance at all. As an instruction, it is advised to dab it onto the affected areas and not on to the full face. Also, not to use it in circular motions like a moisturizer.
As claimed by the brand, it is non drying and has moisturizing properties which is true. It does not dry my skin. One thing which has to be kept in mind while application is apply it on clean and dry skin, if there is any kind of oily layer on your skin, it will keep moving around and will not set into pores.
I have worn this for as long as 6 hours with makeup. I quite like its results, so I would definitely recommend it, but only for occasional use.
Pros of Australis Cosmetics Cya Later Pores Spot Primer:

- True to its claims.
- Works well as a primer.
Cons of Australis Cosmetics Cya Later Pores Spot Primer:
