My experience with Avalon Organics Tea Tree Scalp Treatment Conditioner:

Hey everyone,

I am here with the conditioner review that I promised in my Giovanni shampoo review. It is the Avalon Organics Tea-tree conditioner and I bought this from an online site about two months back. It is free from SLS and SLES, parabens and is 100% vegan. It also has 70% organic contents so I was really looking forward to using a product which is free of harmful chemicals and additives.

I use this conditioner with my Giovanni Tea-tree shampoo. And this combination has worked really well for me these summers. The shampoo is a thick creamy type which gets spread easily on my hair. But since it said that it is a scalp treatment I went ahead and used it on my scalp too. And this was the first conditioner I ever used on my scalp since most of them have a lot of chemicals and I dare not put them anywhere near my roots and they mostly weigh your hair down badly. But oh boy, I was gladly surprised with this one. I massaged it into my scalp for 2-3 minutes and left it for another one. I did not feel a very prominent tingling or anything( my shampoo gives way more of that)but it was a little cooling and did not feel heavy or so. After that I washed it off and my scalp felt somehow cleaner and just nice. But I was still scared it would make my scalp oil a lot. But it didn’t. My hair was soft and my scalp did not oil at all. Actually it oiled less than before. I went on for three days without having to wash my hair again. My hair was not weighed down at all. And I was very impressed by this.

They were smooth to touch and manageable. But obviously it was not the dove smooth, But naturally shiny and smooth. As for the flakes it did reduce them and it helps in itchiness typical of summers.

The packaging is sturdy and I personally like the green bottle. The only problem is that as the conditioner is so thick it takes some work to get it out of the opening. Apart from that the bottle has no leakage or anything like that. Also only a little amount is needed so a one bottle would go a long way.

So I would highly recommend this conditioner for summers as it prevents itching and flakes to quite an extent. Those with dry scalp would love this a lot but people with oilier scalp can give it a try. I have an oily scalp and it worked well for me.
