Hi Ladies! Hope everyone is doing great. As for me I am missing home, family and friends back home and I am glad it’s a bit easier to catch up with them through social media like Facebook. One of my friends posted a photo of her showing how clear and smooth skin is. I complimented her skin and she replied to my comment telling me that at our age, early 30s, we must be using anti-ageing products. Then I realized I needed an anti-ageing eye cream! One eye cream I love a lot is the Aveeno Positively Ageless Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream.

My Take on Aveeno Positively Ageless Anti -Wrinkle Eye Cream:

I work at night and it takes toll on my eyes. It gave me dark circles and fine lines started to show up. Eye cream to the rescue.
Aveeno Positively Ageless Anti -Wrinkle Eye Cream comes in a small, cream, plastic pump bottle which is only about 2 inches tall and an inch in diameter. It is so tiny but I have only used up 25% of the content in 3 weeks. So I think this 15ml bottle will last me 3 months. I only used a minute drop twice a day. The eye cream itself is cream in color and feels like a mix of cream and serum. It is easy to spread on skin and absorbed fast too. It has a mild scent to it and I think it is almost unscented. It instantly moisturize eye area and keeps it moisturized for hours. It does not have minty feel on skin but surely gives soothing action to it. My eyes feel refreshed whenever I used this eye cream. It has this nice cooling effect on my tired eyes. It is very gentle on eye area and I like how it cares for my skin.

I accidentally applied a lot of Neutrogena Rapid Tone Night Moisturizer on my under eye area where it isn’t supposed to be applied since it has Retinol and Salicylic Acid. I find it a bit harsh on that sensitive area around the eyes. I thought I was applying a foundation at that time. Then the next day, I find the under are of my left eye super red and dry and flaking. It has emphasized my wrinkles and it really scared me. In 4 days of using this eye cream over the affected area, it was able to reverse the drying effect of retinol and salicylic acid on my left eye. It is a whole lot smoother now after weeks of use. I also noticed that my eyes looks fresher now compared to when I am not using an eye cream. Though it was able to reverse the damage on my left eye, I do not see smoothing effect on my right eye. The fine lines are still there and no improvement. It looks the same month ago but is way less drier. On my dark circles, I still have dark circles it is a bit brighter now despite lack of sleep. And as I`ve said, my eyes look better overall.

-Gentle
-Effectively moisturize eye area
-Brightens dark circles in one month
-Started reversing the damage done by retinol and salicylic acid on my left eye in 4 days. Improved it even better after 3 weeks
-One month is short to assess the anti-wrinkle property of this product but in one month of use, I don`t think I developed additional wrinkles on right eye.

-Expensive at $25 per 15ml bottle.
