Today’s review is about a body lotion which claims to bust out stress! I thought it to be quite a unique name for just a body lotion. Does it really reduce stress out of our lives?? Well, read on to know more about this product.

My Take on Aveeno Stress Relief Moisturizing Lotion:

Aveeno stress relief moisturising lotion comes in off-white colored bottle with a pump cap. I have already reviewed the skin relief body wash from Aveeno, which I totally loved. I grabbed this lotion during one of liquidation sales and thought of giving it a try. I have really sensitive and dry skin, so I am always in search of good moisturising products, which can work on sensitive skin as well. This product has a lavender scent to it which is not very strong, but a bit overpowering for sensitive skin. The fragrance is supposed to be soothing and relaxing for one’s body but this scent is a bit of turn off for me considering my sensitive skin. Some people may find the smell to be soothing and calming, but I did not find it to be relaxing or relieving me of my stresses. In fact, that is so unusual claim to be made by a normal body lotion!!

The formula feels quite rich and creamy. It is very thick compared to normal body lotions. The cream gets absorbed nicely into the skin and makes my skin feel naturally soft. I like how everything melts into skin without giving it any oily or greasy touch. Just a small quantity is required which spreads well to larger areas. The lasting power is also good as I do not feel the need to re-apply the lotion more often. My skin in fact feels hydrated without feeling greasy. Overall, this is a decent body lotion and does the job well, but any other good body lotion does the same job.It does nothing to relieve stress.

Yes, people can give it a try. It does quite good job at hydrating the skin. Test the skin relief factor at your own risk. If you like lavender smell, you may like this product. No, only because of smell!!
