Avene Cleanance Gel

Hello Gals, I am back with another face wash review and this time its my HG face wash! After using Sebamed Clear Face Cleansing Foam, I was on a lookout for something different, not that Sebamed was not effective, but it didn’t completely stop my pimples, I still used to get one or two once in a while.  I had completely forgotten that I have this Avene Cleanance Gel in vanity! I have already reviewed Avene Thermal Spring water here.

My Take on Avene Cleanance Gel:

After having a fabulous experience with Avene Thermal Spring water, my expectations with Cleanance Gel increased a lot and I must say it has exceeded my expectations!! Cleanance Gel is especially for oily to acne-prone skin. Even though I have combination skin, it worked really well on my skin too.  It is a gel-based face wash which effectively removes dirt from face without making it dry. In fact after using this face wash for the first time, I felt that my skin was clean of all dirt and impurities.  I feel this gel reaches within the layers of the skin and effectively cleans pores! Thermal spring water in this face wash soothes skin without drying and gives a radiant look!

Avene Cleanance Gel

The gel comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a cap which you need to twist and turn to open the small opening from which the gel comes out. The packaging I feel is very convenient and sturdy, it does not leak and a small hole on the top makes sure that there is no wastage of product.

The gel itself is of thin consistency and light blue in color. You just need a pea sized for your entire face and neck! It lathers really well and is highly effective in cleaning the pores! I don’t think this will remove makeup effectively, I can’t say much as I have never tried to remove makeup using this. I have been using this face wash since a month now and not even half of it is over, so this 200ml bottle should go on for at least 2.5 to 3 months! I have been pimple free since I started using this face wash and even through those days of the month, I did not get a single pimple!! Now, isn’t that awesome? This is hands down the best face wash for me and it has become my HG forever!

Avene Cleanance Gel

Pros of Avene Cleanance Gel:

  • Highly highly effective in cleaning the pores and removing oil and dirt from the face.
  • Does not dry the skin at all, in fact keeps it soft and supple.
  • It contains thermal spring water which soothes irritated skin.
  • Helps in reducing blackheads and zits.
  • Helps in reducing appearance of pimples even during those days 🙂
  • A little goes a long way.
  • Sturdy packaging.

Cons of Avene Cleanance Gel:

  • Availability is a problem but Avene products are now available in India.
  • Price is definitely on higher side, but it goes a long way, so I don’t really mind paying that much 😀

Price:
I got for 19 swiss francs which is about 900-950 INR for a quantity of  200 ml.
Will I Repurchase Avene Cleanance Gel?
Are you kidding me? Absolutely YES!!!

Hope this review was helpful, do let me know if you have any other questions, till then take care!

    1. Aruna..i know its kinda on expensive side but one bottle will last 2.5 to 3 months easily and it really keeps pore dirt free and also helps in controlling the oil effectively!
