Avon Simply Pretty Kajal Review
HELLO FRIENDS!!!
Today, I am going to review the Avon simply pretty kajal. I am a big kajal fan. There is not a single day that I don’t use it…even if I am at home. My eyes just feel naked without a kohl. Off late, I have taken a liking for Avon products. I have bought quite a few things from Avon. This kajal is one of them.
WHERE DID I BUY THIS FROM?
I bought this from an Avon representative in Mumbai.
HOW MUCH DID THIS COST ME?
The actual price is Rs. 69 for 2.6 grams. But I got this in an offer…i.e. 2 for Rs. 99…so this actually cost me around 50 bucks & i gave the second one to my sister.
FIRST LOOK: :specs:
Avon Kohl comes in a thick pencil form which can be sharpened. The pencil is dark brown in color with a matte silver cap & bottom. Black is the only color available. It has a creamy texture & glides very smoothly.
INGREDIENTS:
There is no ingredients list given.
SHELF LIFE:
It has a shelf life of almost 4 years. This one expires in 02/2014.
MY TAKE ONAVON KAJAL:
I won’t say this is the best kajal I have ever used…because I have used the colossal kajal & after that I never liked any. But this is not bad for the price. It does smudge a little after three hours…but doesn’t give me raccoon eyes or make me look like a daayan :daayan: at the end of the day…it sought of just disappears. 🙂 This one doesn’t irritate my eyes, so it is very safe to use even on sensitive eyes. The color is quite buildable (light to dark) & it comes off also easily. I tried using this with a primer, it didn’t smudge at all. As of now I am happy with this kohl for daily use. It doesn’t last the entire day.Qt least it doesn’t give me raccoon eyes & it is hassle free……one need not use an eye makeup remover to remove this. It comes off just by using normal face wash & water. :haanji: :preen:
SWATCHES -LIGHT & DARK & EFFECT AFTER RUBBING
PROS OF AVON SIMPLY PRETTY KAJAL:
1. Very reasonably priced.
2. Good quantity for the price.
3. Glides very smoothly because of the creamy texture.
4. Does not sting the eye. Can be used by everyone…even people with sensitive eyes.
5. Comes off easily. Does not give raccoon eyes.
6. Doesn’t feel heavy on the eyes.
CONS OF AVON SIMPLY PRETTY KAJAL:
1. Available only through Avon representatives.
2. Might smudge in summers.
3. Doesn’t last the entire day.
4. No ingredients mentioned on the kajal.
MY RATING :
3.5/5 (MINUS 1.5 FOR THE ABOVE MENTIONED CONS).

WILL I EVER BUY THIS AGAIN???
I am not really sure, this one is going to last for a long time & then maybe I want to try out something new. So…….haven’t really decided. But I advise you all to try this out. It is good for everyday use & also for the price.

I actually have this one. I got in a offer where you buy 1 and get 1 free at rs. 89. I had real tough time sharpening the pencils and this one didn’t fit in the lakme one. I had recently bought a streetwear kajal which came with a sharpener. These 2 look alike.. Same size, thickness, quality. I then noticed both of these are manufactured by Standard Pencils :yuck: :yuck:
Not one of the bestest ones.. These are standard kajals which are quite affordable..
yes agreed amrin… :hughright: this is not one of the best ever..but its not bad for the price…. :))
Agreed!! Completely!!!
i have a problem with sharpening as in i love sharpening pencils\ 😐
so i kept on sharpening this and it went on breaking and now its over in a month 😐
