Avon Smooth Minerals Powder Foundation Review

Avon Smooth Minerals Powder Foundation

Avon Smooth Minerals Powder Foundation
Hey everyone, this review is for the Avon Smooth Minerals Foundation in Transparent Glow. I had this product for a while and I never had any use for it. It was definitely too light for my skin tone and could not be used as a foundation. One day I just got up and decided to play with it. I noticed it had a slight pinky/peachy tint to it. Then I decided to really work it into my hand and give it a try. I am shocked to say that I was impressed. It looked really good when I took the time out to really blend it into the skin.

After a while I started experimenting with it using just a small amount of it as a highlighter on the top of my cheekbones and it really looked great. Then I went on to trying it to set concealer and foundation under my eyes. It does take a bit of effort in blending and you definitely have to have a light hand. But, I was very pleased with the results. It really brightens up under the eyes and since then I never use anything else under my eyes.

Another trick I picked up was to use under or over my blush. I can turn a red blush into pink or light pink depending on how much of the Transparent glow I use. But it may get a bit messy. The product doesn’t come through the sifter very well. It is almost like the particles are so soft that they stick together. The consistency reminds me of cheap powder, like the Imaripowder Avon sells.

  1. Hi All, we just noticed that the review on ‘The Body Shop Brazil Nut Define No Frizz’ used the images stolen from Radhika’s Blog. We have removed the review and we ask everyone not to take the review as genuine. We are also banning the reviewer from further reviewing products on IMBB

  2. Might be good for setting then but oily skin shines so much on its own na, more highlighting all over would be disastrous. No rating for this product? ?:)

  3. The glow it imparts in the after picture looks nice. :)) But I agree with Ankita. It should have been labelled as highlighter or translucent powder.

  4. Whats the price?? I didnt find it in the catalogue! I just found one loose powder but it wasnt mineral based i think,am not sure!
