Ayur Herbal Moisturizer Wheat Germ Based Review

Ayur Herbal Moisturizer Wheat Germ Based

Hello IMBB Gang!!

I am not much of a parlor person. I just go once in month for regular threading and waxing. Other things like cleanups be that for face or for feet, I prefer doing at home only. I just don’t get fascinated towards the products they use at the parlors. Recently I went to a temple where I had to walk bare feet for almost 2 kilometers and that too in such hot conditions. I managed that but after returning the condition of my feet was pathetic. I tried cleaning my feet with every possible means I had at home but they were just crap. Then I decided that I should go to a parlor for pedicure else my home science will prove to be disastrous to my feet. The lady at the parlor did stare at my feet for a while and then out of curiosity asked me where I went. Then she assured me the she’ll clean that, nothing to worry. I was relaxed.

She started with the usual process and I started reading a magazine. After a while she started massaging my feet with a yummy strawberry pink colored liquid and I was tempted to ask what she was exactly using. She then told me about this moisturizing lotion. She massaged my legs up to knees and used generous quantity of lotion for that. She massaged for about 10 minutes and I was overwhelmed by that.

After returning home I was so tired that I just slept for some time. When I woke up I could feel the after effects of the massage. My legs were so relaxed and were so soft to touch. I just forgot about the pedicure while pondering over my legs. I then remembered that she had used some lotion and the very same evening I bought that because the over hyped current lotion which I was using then was not doing any good to my legs in spite of slathering that on to my legs after every shower. The lotion which I bought is “Ayur Herbal Moisturizer Wheatgerm based” and I will be reviewing the same.

Packaging: The lotion comes in a sleek, long, sturdy transparent bottle with a transparent pinkish flip cap. The bottle is having pink cover with product details printed in the front as well as in the backside.

My experience with the product:
At first when I opened the bottle and took out some quantity on my palm, it just felt as if I have put a spoon full of melted strawberry ice-cream on my palm. It looks so yummy. The smell is also very much like a moisturizer only, nothing over the top. After shower I apply this liberally on my legs as I have dry skin there, even in summers. This is not at all greasy and whatever amount I apply my skin absorbs it pretty quickly leaving behind a smooth silky softness. The moisturizing factor is good enough. I do not feel the need to moisturize my skin for the coming 8 hours. After that I again splash my skin with normal water and slather the lotion again. I just need a reason to apply this. This is so light weight with normal consistency. I just love the way my legs feel when I apply this. No stickiness just smooth skin.. 🙂

Pros of the lotion:
Light weight
Leaves no greasiness on the skin
Makes skin smooth
Inexpensive
Easily available

Cons of the lotion:
Parabens, Urea and other ingredients… 😮

For some people who are after high end brands all the time, the brand can be an issue since this is a very normal day to day brand. Rest I could not find any as this does a great job for me as per my requirement and usage.

Final Verdict: This is much better than the much hyped prevailing body lotions which claim to provide moisturization for up to 12 hours and make the skin dry within hours of application. I will definitely buy it again.

  1. Thanks Ila!!! I am not fond of Strawberry ice cream… but yes looking at this lotion you have the same feeling… 😛

  2. i used this loooooooong back 😉 during ma school dayz…..nostalgic 🙂 🙂 its a good product at affordable price

  3. meh…i have this one at home…i tried to use this for my face..it is super greasy..it works well for the body i suppose.. though in extreme winters even this fails..i would give it a rating of 2/5..i found vaseline body lotion much better for my body, and a cold cream for my face in dry weathers. elizabeth arden red door body lotion was better for my face..especially in summers…

  4. I used this a lot in the past..after a long gap, got the small bottle now..and i like it…nice product at affordable price..nice review Pallavi!

  5. even i have this… i have been using this from last 3 months. its non sticky and superb. I’ll just add til oil and some more rose oil to some portion of the moisturizer to make it richer for winters. I always do this.. buy a big bottle for the year and use it up !
