BaByliss Pro Perfect Curl Review

I always wanted to try the BaByliss Pro Perfect Curl since I have never seen a tool that can make curling process so easy. I kept on watching videos about this tool and didn’t see any negative reviews about it. So, I went ahead and bought it. There are two versions of this curler. Pro Perfect Curl is a professional version with 3 heat and 3 timer settings and it offers alternate, clockwise and anticlockwise curl options. The other one is called Curl Secret, which is the customer version with 2 heat settings, 3 timer settings and alternate curls option. I am not a professional but I like to have options, so I went for the professional version, that is this Pro Perfect Curl.

BaByliss Pro Perfect Curl creates waves or curls in your hair, quickly and easily and without pulling. The BaByliss Pro Perfect Curl has three temperature settings and three timer settings. Select the curl direction, then simply grasp a section of hair near the roots, then close and hold the wand. The whole length of the hair is drawn into the ceramic curl chamber and after a few seconds, a beep will tell you when it is time to release the hair. Repeat on the next section of hair. The result will be soft even waves, or tight defined curls – or somewhere in between, depending on your preference and the setting you choose.

My Experience with BaByliss Pro Perfect Curl:

To start off, your hair needs to be clean and dry. I have very fine hair, so I always use a heat protection spray. You need to divide your hair into small sections as we always do while we curl our hair. The manual tells you to aim the circular part towards your hair. Then you need to put the hair section in and clamp down.

The hair section gets stuck into the machine (yes, that was the scary part!). The tool beeps for 3 times if you choose 8 seconds, 4 times if you choose 10 and 5 times for 12. Just wait for the double beep and unclip and carefully drop the curl. If hair gets stuck in the tool, just don’t panic, release the clamp and simply pull the device away gently.

In the professional version, you have the option to choose the curl direction. You can choose between clockwise, anti-clockwise and alternate. Whenever I want loose curls, I go for 8 seconds setting, for medium curls I choose 10 and for tight curls 12 is perfect.

When I tried this tool for the first time it was a struggle for me. It was not this tool’s fault, but because I was impatient and scared that my hair would get stuck and break off. But, once I learned how to use it properly, everything became a cakewalk. It is the simplest tool for curling and I can curl my hair within 10–15 minutes. If you like curling your hair, this is the best and the easiest option available in the market.
