A big hello to all the beautiful women out there. I have been following IMBB for quite some time now and I must say that I’m a big fan of Rati and all the amazing writers who make things easier for newbies in the world of makeup and skin care. This is my first review for IMBB and I’m super-duper excited about it. So, what are we waiting for? Read on, to find out if I liked this eye cream by Balea.
I moved to Germany recently for pursuing my MS and the huge variety in skin care and cosmetics this beautiful country has to offer got me excited. One such trip led me to DM store. Balea is an in-house brand of DM store which offers amazing products at affordable prices. Sounds good for a student, yeah! My skin type is normal, medium fair with rare breakouts.
Balea eye cream with 5% urea for very dry skin. Retains the moisture in skin and reduces wrinkles for a smoother, even-toned complexion.
2.95 Euros for 15 ml.
My Take on Balea Eye Cream:
Packaging: There is nothing fancy about the packaging. The cream comes in a squeeze tube with white, pink and grey combination. The tube has a nozzle which dispenses just the right amount of product. The tiny size of the tube makes it perfect for travel. The screw on cap avoids spillage. Ingredients list is mentioned only on the box and not on the tube.
Consistency: The cream has a silky smooth consistency, neither too runny nor too thick. It gets absorbed almost immediately after application and doesn’t leave any oiliness/shine behind.
I am in my mid-twenties and I recently realized that I should get more involved with my skin care regime to avoid any irreversible damage later on. I decided to start with the skin around my eyes as it is the most delicate and the signs of ageing first appear there. Since then, I have been on a lookout for a good and affordable eye cream. When I came across this cream, I decided to give it a try since I had used some products from the same brand earlier and pretty much liked them.
I have been using this product for over two months now and I should say that I’m in love with this. I apply this every night after cleansing my skin. It has made the skin around my eye area smooth and reduced the appearance of fine lines to a certain extent. I do not have any dark circles, so I cannot comment on the efficacy of the cream on dark circles. I sometimes use this in the morning when I haven’t slept enough and it makes my under eye area look smooth and fresh. Since it absorbs really fast, it can be used under a concealer without any hassle.
