I did a small haul from the DM Store during my visit to Germany. I picked up a few day and night creams from Balea to give them a try. Today’s review is all about Balea Moisturizing Day Cream with SPF 15.

My Experience with Balea Moisturizing Day Cream with SPF 15:
The day cream comes in a cardboard packaging. There is a lot of information regarding the product on the box. Once you open the box, the tube package of the cream sits perfectly inside. The tube has a white flip cap. There is some basic information on the back of the tube. The cap closes with a click and there is no leakage and is hygienic. It is easy to open and close. I like Balea products for their simple packaging.
The day cream easily dispenses from the tube without any issues. Due to the tube package, I guess it would be difficult to squeeze out the product when it is finishing up. The cream is white in color and has a medium creamy consistency. The cream has a very mild fragrance and is very pleasant. A pea sized amount is more than enough to moisturize the skin.
I use the cream every morning and massage it gently onto the face and neck. The cream is very light weight and spreads onto the skin very easily and gets quickly absorbed. It doesn’t leave any residue behind and it hardly feels on the skin. Even though I sometimes apply more, there is no white cast nor does it feel greasy on the skin. The cream smoothens the surface of the skin and moisturizes effectively.
The product also acts as a good base. I usually do not use a primer and this cream makes the skin even and when I top it up with foundation, there are fewer pores visible and the foundation is so naturally applied. I would use the cream for this purpose on any day! The cream does conceal all the dryness on the skin and intensively nourishes the skin.
However, the nourishment factor lasts for 5-6 hours and I do not feel it would provide the rich moisturization needed for winters. So, this would be classified as a basic summer/autumn cream. The cream also makes the skin very soft and smooth over the time. The product doesn’t cause any irritation or breakouts. Since it also contains SPF 15, it provides necessary protection when you are at home or you just have to head out to the nearest market. The product doesn’t even out the skin or lightens the skin nor have I seen any anti-aging benefits but, the cream is a very good daily moisturizer at a throw away price! The product doesn’t contain paraben either! I love Balea products and for the prices I pay, I am satisfied with their quality. So, summing up:
