I love trying new body washes and today’s review is all about Balea Pampering Lotus Dream Shower Gel. Read on to know more about the product.

My Experience with Balea Pampering Lotus Dream Shower Gel:
The shower gel comes in green-gold combination tube with a turquoise green flip cap. The cap closes with a click and there is no leakage. The product comes unsealed and there is basic information on the back of the tube. The tube is pretty big and if you do not mind the bulky package, you can carry it along. I love the colors and the tube packaging takes very less space than bottle packaging.
The shower gel has a medium consistency and has an off white color. The texture feels a bit creamy. The fragrance of the gel is amazing. It is very floral and very feminine. It is indeed strong for a sensitive nose but the smell stays for a short while. The smell of jasmine and ylang ylang dominates in the shower gel. The scent of the lotus is very mild and it feels like a musky fragrance! The smell is intense only when lathering it.
The foaming capacity of the shower gel is okay. It doesn’t lather very well and with a loofah you can get satisfactory results. Since it doesn’t lather well, you will end up using more than required during the first few applications. After drying, the skin does feel dry and a moisturizer is a must. I have dry skin and after using this shower gel, I have to use an intense moisturizing cream or else, I am sure to get dry flakes as the day passes. The gel cleanses the body thoroughly and gives a squeaky clean feeling. It also eliminates body odor.
The product does contain SLS but doesn’t contain paraben. The shower gel is only a nice smelling product and doesn’t have any moisturization benefits. Since it is cheap, I didn’t mind that this was a waste. Since it dries my skin, I have stopped using this product and have been using this with olive oil to clean my brushes! At least, it cleans them thoroughly. So, summing up:
