Balea Urea Foot Cream Review

Now that summer is almost here it is time to flaunt well groomed feet in fun summer flip-flops. The product under review today is Balea Urea Foot Cream which has 10% urea. Urea cream is used for moisturizing and softening dry, cracked, rough and hardened skin of feet, hands, or elbows. Some creams even have up to 50% urea. I have been using this product for a few months now and here are my thoughts on the same.

My Experience with Balea Urea Foot Cream:

The packaging is like any other foot cream packaging. It comes in a 100ml plastic tube with flip lid. The flip lid is pretty pink in color making it the only interesting part of the packaging. The lid opens and closes easily. The whole packaging is sturdy making it travel friendly. The expiry-date of the product is printed on the crimp of the tube.

The consistency of the product is very thick. To squeeze the product you need to apply a little extra pressure. The formula is creamy and rich. The thick consistency makes it a little hard to spread the cream. The fragrance is a mix of honey and almond milk. It is not very overpowering and I quite like the way it smells.

On application, the cream leaves the feet greasy. It doesn’t get absorbed in to the skin easily. You need to give it time to sink in. I normally apply it before going to bed, massage it on to my heels, toes and toenails too; then wait for few minutes before wearing a pair of socks and sleeping off.

What I have realized is, long term usage of the cream makes the feet soft and smooth. The dryness of my feet has reduced to a large extent. I would never use this product before heading out of the house since it’s very slippery. It works best when used as a night time foot cream.

Pros of Balea Urea Foot Cream:

• Handy packaging.
• Mild fragrance of honey and almond milk.
• Considerably reduces dry skin when used regularly.
• Gives soft and smooth feet.
• Contains 10% urea; a good agent in reducing dry skin issues.

Cons of Balea Urea Foot Cream:

• Consistency is very thick.
• Not very easily absorbed in to the skin.
• Results in slippery feet.

IMBB Rating: 4/5
