My Experience with Balea Vital Body Lotion:
The packaging is typical to Balea body lotions. It comes in a tall plastic container with a flap lid. The overall color is maroon with shades of light brown. It gives more of an autumn look to the packaging. The packaging holds 400 ml of product, which is quite a bit, making it not so suitable for shorter vacations. Unless you have a big family and everyone uses the same body lotion, you would not like to carry it around. It takes away a little more space than smaller lotions, especially when you have small bags to travel with.
The lotion can be easily squeezed out of the bottle with hardly any effort. So, the packaging can be handled by all age groups. The consistency is pretty thick, but it spreads easily on the skin. The lotion looks white in color. I hate it when body lotions are watery. It’s not cloudy, making it easy to apply. It does feel sticky during and after application. It’s not the kind of body lotion which gets absorbed within seconds of application. With this lotion one needs to wait for a minute or two so that it gets absorbed.
The product contains argan oil and caffeine, both of which make a great combination for ageing skin. I have read that caffeine has the power to dehydrate the fatty cells under the skin, thereby minimises the appearance of cellulite. I have just one spot of cellulite on my thigh which comes on and off. I have used this lotion for some time to test if the cellulite disappears. Sorry to say, but it did not make any difference.
The argan oil is good for moisturizing and nourishing the skin. As the product claims, the skin feels well moisturized after each usage. Overall, my skin feels soft and smooth whenever I use this lotion. The fragrance is supposed to be that of coffee due to the presence of caffeine but the fragrance is too mild to be noticed. I do not mind the mild fragrance, though. I am not a coffee person and would not have preferred a strong coffee scent on my body.
I appreciate the point that it’s very inexpensive and the performance is quite satisfying. I do not believe that it does anything for the cellulite but works fine as a body lotion. It does nourish your skin.
