The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer Review

Hello Beauties,

I am back yet again with a review of The Balm product but this time its their gorgeous Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter. The Balm is known for their creative packaging, funky product names and top quality products! I have tried their Frat Boy blush and loved it! So without any further delays let’s go ahead with the review.

The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer3

Product Description:

Meet Mary-Lou Manizer, a seemingly innocent honey-hued luminizer that catches everybody’s eye. This highlighter, shadow and shimmer diffuses light so your skin looks softer and younger while adding a subtle glow. Layer it on your eyelids for luxe-looking eyelashes, sweep it on your cheeks for a sexy sheen or use it as an all over finishing touch before you head out for the night!

The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer4

My experience withย The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer:

Like all The Balm products Mary-Lou Manizer aka The Luminizer comes in cute box packaging and the case itself is round tin containing whopping 8.5 gm of product! It comes with a big size mirror which is very handy for ย touch ups. Mary-Lou Manizer can be used as highlighter/eyeshadow/shimmer so its definitely a very versatile product. The shade is described as soft champagne gold and is stunning beautiful! For me, I personally love using it as a brow bone highlighter, inner corner highlighter and cheek highlighter.

The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer5

The pigmentation is fantastic and just a touch of brush is required. It definitely is one of the most long wearing highlighter’s I have used. It stays on for 6 to 7 hours on me without much fading. The texture is extremely finely-milled and soft, blends like a dream. It does not have any glitter or shimmer particles but due to its extremely finely milled pigments it gives this gorgeous sheen which is beautiful! I have used it during day as well as night time and works well for both.

The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer6

Since it does not contain any solid shimmer or glitter and since the powder is finely milled there are no fallout at all! Also due to its texture it does not accentuate open pores or any imperfections on the face but yes one needs to be careful in the amount , if you use way too much you will definitely end up looking like a disco ball and I feel this is true for all highlighters. Always keep a light hand and it would never fail you! It gives a subtle and healthy glow to face, immediately brighten’s up a dull face.

The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer2

The shade champagne gold will suit all skin tones beautifully! Over all, a must-have HG highlighter for me! Highly recommended!
